Jan 30, 2017 : 440 Bluehost Employees Getting Laid Off


bluehost.com logo📅 - Endurance International Group, the parent company of Bluehost.com, will be closing the Orem, Utah office. This will result in laying off 440 employees, according to VentureBeat.

The layoffs will include more than half of the employees at Bluehost including human resources, training staff, customer service and accounting. Employees were given a memo about the layoffs on January 19, 2017.

The laid off employees will receive one month's salary and COBRA benefits for three months, along with two weeks “standard severance” and one week per year of employment. Layoffs will run from March to October of 2017.
