ICANN Announces New CEO and President, Says Goodbye to Current CEO


Feb 9, 2016 - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) named their new CEO and president on Monday. Göran Marby, the current Director and General of the Swedish Post & Telecom Authority (PTS), will begin the role as CEO and president in May 2016. He's currently living in Stockholm, but plans to relocate to Los Angeles with his family before he begins. Los Angeles is oneof three ICANN global headquarters.

Marby is to replacec former and current CEO, Fadi Chehadé.
