Datacenter New Jersey

Data Center NJ resides in Clifton, NJ, just 14 miles from New York City. This new facility boasts enormous growth potential allowing us capabilities of up to 55,000 sq ft of pure datacenter floor space, and ease of access to backbone providers. Currently, the facility incorporates over 7,500 sq ft of completed raised floor data center space, along with 5000 sq ft of corporate office space which includes a front reception area, conference rooms, and ample space for our employees.

The new datacenter has been carefully planned from inception to overcompensate for such factors as cooling, generators, UPS's, secondary generators, fire suppression, and much, much more. Our new facility has been set in place with 7,500 sq ft of raised flooring, 8 (eight) 20 ton AC units and double pre-action fire suppression system. Our datacenter is powered by a Liebert UPS system and a Caterpillar generator with 4 days of standby fuel. Our datacenter is monitored 24/7/265 by an overlapping array of CCTV cameras and datacenter entry is secured by both biometric and card key access.

Network & Datacenter Info
Our network runs on our own dark fiber ring connecting our two redundant pops in 111th NYC and 165 Halsey (Equinix) NJ. Each fiber leg is capable of handling our entire networks traffic in case of a failure. Each leg can upgraded to provide transport capacities up to 320Gbps totaling 640Gbps of available transport capacity. Our core consists of Dual Cisco 6509 SUP720 Routers, fully meshed to multiple aggregation switches for maximum uptime. Our multi-homed network is fueled by premium tier 1 carriers Above.net, NLayer (GlobalCrossing), coming soon are Level3 and NYIIX peering.

24x7x365 Manned Security and Video Surveillance
The security in the CBOT is very extensive, including Security Guards and Video Surveillance throughout the building. In addition the building is patrolled by Chicago Police Officers. All Tenants of the building must have proper identification including photo I.D. to gain entrance to the building. All visitors must show proper identification and sign in at the Guards desk before gaining access to the building. A pass from the Office Of The Building is need to take any and all equipment out of the building.

ISP POP (point of presence)
Chicago board of trade has build infrastructure of fiber optic raisers throughout its building which ensures easy delivery of any of many ISPs that are present in the building. DC3 currently has POP of XO communications , Yipes and COGENT at their premises. Following networks are also available in CBOT and can be delivered to our datacenter within couple days if needed :

Redundant and Precision Power
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) is the only building in Chicago to draw power from 6 different city substations which virtually ensures a continuous and reliable power supply. As one of the largest financial centers in the world, the CBOT's power supply is fully redundant. In addition, all power from the building passes through onsite Liebert Precision Power unites before reaching any servers.

Fire Suppression System
Our datacenter has an early fire detection system. In case of a fire HALON gas fire suppressant is used to distinguish fire, which will not harm any electronic equipment.

Airconditioning and HVAC
Our datacenter is utilizing three 15 ton Liebert air-conditioning units. Cold air comes though the raised floor to ensure proper and even cooling distribution.
