I've been using TMDHosting for nearly 5 years now, I went to them out of disgust with my previous hosting company and have never regretted the move for a moment since. Not only have they delivered all they promised, including 99.9% uptime and 24/7 support, but they have also made me look good to my clients.

I do web development, mostly back end work, PHP, MySQL, WordPress plugins, Dolphin customization, and other behind the scenes work. All their automated install tools work as advertised and are properly configured and optimized allowing me to get straight to work on the stuff that pays my bills. No fiddling around with setups or optimizations.

I work at night a lot, and on most holidays, support tickets are replied to in a matter of minutes, and the support staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Issues are resolved quickly without my having to prod anyone along to get results.

Tech support for scripting is unreal - had a problem Christmas eve and they were still responding within minutes of a ticket and working the problem. Have had several setup and scripting problems but they've resolved them all professionally and usually within minutes or hours of posting a ticket. I am very impressed, I've used a lot of hosting services but this is the first one that actually seems to have staff who know what they are doing, particularly at a high level with the packages they support. If you need that extra bit of technical support, these are the guys to go to.

BTW, go VPS, don't bother with a shared plan, performance is terrible but VPS is great. Use shared to test out a new site or domain idea on the cheap then migrate to VPS if it proves to be a good one.

I am also with another hosting company, a large German one which advertises regular on British main TV, which takes 5 days to respond to a query, has the worst control panel ever, and charge 4 times more than TMDHOSTING, and only ever speak to me via automated emails when they are trying to sell another useless product.
For this reason, I am delighted with TMDHOSTING and the years I have had with TMDHOSTING, and their excellent CPANEL, and their response time to a query (using their ticketing system) is incredible, and I mean, often, within minutes.

Servers were

On 2019-04-22 TMD had a server crash or something went wrong, and my email stopped working, Sites stopped working
TMD changed my sites, and I had to change all email, and upload to different server

In Aug 2020 the TMD servers crashed!!! Again.
I had NO email, NO websites for two (2) weeks!!

I searched and signed up with another Hosting company.

I have had many email problems.
I had 34 Ticket with TMD
TMD does not talk to you directly, it is ticked based only.
This was a bad experience with TMD, and they did not refund me for two years remaining.

However, their customer service was not the best, but it gave me trust. It wasn't a very quick response, but it wasn't too late, and all the problems were generally resolved. But I guess TMD have qualified people working over there and that's why their support system is obviously better compared to others. 😁 TMD---Wow--what a great company! What great support! After having been with Lunarpages for over 10 years they sold out to a big conglomerate. My dedicated server support was gone. Phone calls were answered by 'operators' who then wrote up tickets resulting in delays of responses (not necessarily 'answers') for a couple of days. So much for 'dedicated support.' Through a colleague I found TMD (VPS-level). I've been totally overwhelmed with their level of service both by phone and by 'ticket' Calls are connected within minutes to an English speaking knowledgeable techie who has either guided me through the migration process or accomplished the task for me while I am on the phone. Ticket requests for assistance usually are answered in about 15-20 minutes. It's 2020...I would never have expected this great level of technical assistance at this time---hand holding even! The tech support at TMD is even way beyond my old Lunarpages support.

😉 I would not recommend TMD Hosting. When I first started with them, I had a whole slew of problems; my 2 small wordpress sites were timing out even though I had their best highest cloud plan. Their support is usually very quick to respond, but their guidance and advice is not always accurate nor professional. I can say that after their 2 years, their service has become more stable, however what I realized is that the response time for my website loads were subpar. So while they advertise higher cPanel limits, I found that the load time to less responsive and slower. While the product has improved with time, I just still find it subpar.
I think what they could do is improve support by not providing generic responses as well as to improve response times.
My wordpress sites should not have timed out - I don't get very much traffic so there was no reason for it. I guess we'll have to wait and see what they do.

I've had no problems with access or up times, the yearly price is reasonable considering you get unlimited storage space, in comparison to a UK based company I also use which charges the same amount in sterling for limited storage space.

Initial security when signing up is reassuringly tight. I use a VPN as a matter of course and their system detected this and made sure I confirmed my identity on the phone before they would allow me to proceed.

Customer service has been very good. On both occasions I submitted questions via email, the response came back very quickly with a satisfactory answer.

I am so pleased with them I have decided to dump my other web host in favor of the site I have with them as they offer all the same benefits, if not more, at a more affordable price.

The hosting has been top notch, but most top hosts have good hosting, so the question really is how good is the support when there is an issue.

From personal experience, TMD support has gone above and beyond on several occasions to address and fix any and all issues.

😁 Finding TMDHosting was the best hosting decision I have ever made. Their plans are the most affordable I have found for the services provided, with free support included. All support requests are answered in minutes, and their 'Genius Support' staff are always very helpful and courteous, no matter how big or small my problem is. They really are geniuses.

Their shared cloud hosting plans are lighting fast, and the included cpanel and Softaculous script installer makes installing WordPress (and many other popular scripts) quick and painless. You can literally have a new WordPress website up and running in just a few minutes.

I originally found TMD over 10 years ago when I couldn't take my old hosting account anymore, because of slow servers and lack of support, and have since added two more shared cloud hosting accounts at TMD. After you try these guys out I don't think you'll even want to look anywhere else again.

😁 I started using TMD Hosting in October 2019. All my websites were hosted on another hosting, but I was not fully satisfied. I started losing audience because website was not accessible all the time. They had long downs lasting few hours. I fed up with it and transferred my websites to TMD hosting. Since then, I don't have problems anymore. I am very satisfied with the speed, especially when connecting through FTP. Way faster than my previous hosting. Hopefully everything will remain as good as now in the future.

😁 This is my 3rd year with TMD hosting and I’m not planning to move anywhere after been disappointed by many out there. The very first few months when I started hosting with TMD, I had some financial challenges and I was afraid TMD will cut their service, but they didn’t. I presented my challenge to them and they were so kind to give me two more weeks to settle my payment(invoice) without pressurizing me.

They have an eveready, reliable and understanding support team. Years after I was frustrated by some hosting companies, TMD came to my rescuer. I was a bit skeptical when one youtube video recommended TMD hosting but I just said to myself "Let me just try them for two months, if they disappoint like others I’m out". 2months turned into 27months and I’m still counting. If you are looking for a hosting company, by the time you meet TMD hosting you will definitely ask, “Where have you guys been? “

I still regret why I didn’t subscribe for a longer startup SPECIAL/CHEAP offer.

😁 Ive been using TMD hosting for 2 years, and cant only say good things about the platform.

Coming from another provider, I thought not having a live person to speak with would be an issue. I thought having to only email or submit tickets would also be a problem, or cause delays.

Boy was I wrong within a minute or two of submitting a ticket, a TMD support agent is on the ball reviewing you ticket, and working on it.

Simple tasks are completed within minutes.

If its complicated, and you don't feel comfortable, the agent may be able to assist and doing it on your behalf.

I cant say anything negative about TMD, it surpasses the support and technology of the others.

Unlike other hosting services used in the past, they will respond to you within 15 minutes and I don't have to deal with lengthy caller phone directory system and then put on hold indefinitely only to find out I was talking to whom didn’t have the answer to the problem and then gets redirected to another higher-level technical support person.
Not having a direct phone line to the technical support, you are receiving undivided attention to the technical department directly to resolve issues. More, instead of fumbling to explain the technical problem over the phone, getting the website credentials and so on, you learn how to explain the technical issue in detail so issues can be resolved in a timely matter. Highly recommended.

😁 To those looking for a hosting service for Moodle - look no further. This is the one. This has the best service and the pricing is reasonable. I have tried everything out there and most of them are not great to bad. I won't name names but suffice it to say that tmdhosting is superb. These guys have helped me so many times. I came out of a complete web crash with their help in just a few days. They stuck with me until it was perfectly functional again (and upgraded too!). It all comes down to their expertise. Also they are really nice to interact with. Really professional. They won't let you down when the going gets tough. Btw I am using the Storm Cloud package and it has enough power to do everything even with 40 users hitting it hard simultaneously. (class size).

😁 TMD hosts our GRAV web site and Vanilla Forum intranet. Technical support is exemplary. Two days ago we decided to set up another forum to help our customers and our team while everyone is working at home.

At 9.30 pm last night, just before supper, I was ready to install it. To my horror Softaculous reported three PHP features were unavailable. That was not what the cPanel PHP Selector said, so I raised a TMD support ticket and apologised to Mary for keeping her waiting. She made no bones about the idiocy of expecting a quick response from anyone late on a Saturday evening.

We watched a BBC Panorama programme about Amazon's amazing use of Alexa data. At 11.20 pm I checked TMD Support just as the response came in saying they had fixed the problem. They had.
