😠 I have been a customer for 14 years. After som change of servers I was no longer able to access my cPanel. This was for over a year ago. And they have not fixit even after countless tickets. And many times they do not even reply. Did not update my credit card when it expired but they figured it out and billed my new card. Stay away!

😠 jumpline SUCKS!
jumpline SUCKS! I was there, when it was HostICAN, before jumpline bought them, for 17 YEARS! They just moved their whole operation to Buffalo, NY and after the move my website went down and wouldn't work. They said they would put me on a "cloud linux" server, that would cure the problem. After they kept lying and saying that they moved my account and not doing it, then moving me to another server, (website STILL didn't work), then not installing the necessary components on their server to allow my version of PHP to function, (for well over another week), I moved, with about 6 months of hosting time left. They did it ALL on purpose! I have all the emails for proof, because I've filed a number of formal complaints on them, (FTC, FCC, Attorneys General in OH & NY). DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THESE LYING BUMS!!! I now use HostArmada.com, an AWESOME ISP!!

😠 went downhill very fast
was a client for 20+ years. until this past year, rarely had a problem but with issues this year with my email i tried to contact and/or speak with them and they made it nearly impossible to do so. b/c of COVID-19 they've eliminated telephone support which makes absolutely no sense. their chat is limited to techs who can't to anything and refer everything to 'admins' who never respond. i finally got so sick of trying that i decided to change hosting companies with two results: first, i found out that Jumpline has been charging me far more than the going rate for years; and, second, when i requested that they make changes necessary for the new company to take over they dragged their feet telling me initially it would take 4 hours, then two days and now a week and i haven't been able to use my email and am still waiting. finally, requests that they credit be for unused hosting time have been, so far, ignored. DO NOT GO NEAR THEM!!!!

😁 I had an issue with not enough inodes and they fixed it real quick for me. I find the technical support to be fairly helpful. I also like the discount I get for signing up for multiple months at a time, so for those who are upset about getting auto-renewed on plans it's kind of a give and take. You get what you pay for. I think I'm getting good bang for my buck from this company. I pay more for my home cable internet connection and now that is some terrible customer service.

See jumplinesucks.com. I was VERY satisfied with the small host: Hostican.. until they were acquired by Jumpline about 2 years ago. Since then it's been a joke of an experience. Complete lack of customer support. Vague ticket responses. Unprofessional and hard to read responses from foreign technicians. Sketchy billing practices. I could go on, but I think you get the point.

😠 Horrible hosting. Stay away!
I've been using VPS account for years with VPSNext, and then they got sold to Jumpline and that screwed up an awesome hosting .. server connection speeds on vps are insanely slow .. can't get anything over 60kb/sec on download, and one person is watching a video or downloading a file - every site on the vps goes down cause it can't handle the traffic ...

i've been with them for at least 5 years and now it takes WEEKS to transfer all my content to another server though SSH cause of insanely slow speeds.

just stay away from these dudes and you won't regret it

😠 Worst Customer Service Attitude Around
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They will auto renew your account until the end of time and then tell you they won't refund your money for any reason. Their attitude is

"We got you and there's nothing you can do about it."

That equals less than great customer service, if you ask me.

My account auto-renewed yesterday, I contacted them last night to say I don't want the account and they said "Tough".

My hosting company (100megs domains) sold out to Jumpline. They transferred hosted domains and sites. They charged me $triple for domain renewall and the hosing plans were much more expensive with "features" I had no need for. Hosting cost went from $60 per year to over $130.

I have since transferred the domains to another registrar, and moved hosting to much more reasonably priced service.

Avoid this host. They are no good. I am very dissatisfied.

😠 Can't cancel account even if you want to
I have been a customer of Jumpline.com since 2000 (12 years now). Since that time, in an industry of increasing features for lower costs, they have been one of the few hosts continuley up their prices. Meanwhile their customer services has gotten slower and less helpful. I've had tickets take longer than 24s to be read.

2 years ago, I took advantage of a seemly great promotional deal that had an automatic renewal built in. 2 years later now and the site was up for renewal. They notified me that my credit card on file was expired and I needed to update it with them. I had recently moved away from Jumpline for the sites hosted on that account and so I didn't update my card info, thinking they wouldn't auto renew.

They apparently fudged (or guessed?) my cards new expiration date and charged me for 2 year renewal automatically anyway.

That same day, after seeing the charge on my card, I asked them to cancel my account and refund the money. Their response: "We do not [read more...]

😠 Very poor service led to cancellation
When I first signed up 12 years ago, their service was good and I recommended it to several people.
In the last couple of years, I've had mostly email problems where it would quit working and it was take up to a day to correct. Outages lasted for several hours, sometime a day at a time and I would lose email.
The last problem I had was not resolved, and the only recourse I had to get my email working again was to switch providers.
My new hosting company is so much better (and cheaper). I should have made the switch sooner as it was very easy.

😠 DON'T USE JUMPLINE!!!!
Like the other reviews here, my situation is the same. They charged me a renewal when I specifically stated to cancel my domain. They charged me another year at 5 times the price to "host" a domain that no longer existed. They hide behind a small sentence in the user agreement. Their policy: If you use a credit card, you give them permission to keep automatically renewing you at an exorbitant rate.... They WILL NOT refund your money. They will rip you off. BEWARE.... 😠 I agree.

I was on a VPS system (Virtual Private Server), which was supposed to be unaffected by other sites on the system. The whole selling point of this package, was that no other sites would be able to drag me down.

The reliability of their service was not just horrible, but INCREDIBLY horrible. I experienced the exact same levels of downtime described above. 15-30 minute downtimes REGULARLY (meaning many times per week).

Everything started out fine, and things would be fine for a couple of months, and then problems would start happening a couple of times per week for a month. When I called them about it, they said it must be a bug in my site.

I asked them how they would explain how things were just fine for months, and then would suddenly have problems every other day for weeks -- When I hadn't made ANY changes to my site in a year!

😠 Extremely unhappy. I signed up with Jumpline because it was free for a year. The product was by no means great... or even good, compared to other webhosting providers. After my year was almost up, I purchased hosting through a different company and switched all my websites over with no plans to continue with Jumpline. Then I get a bill for $240 which is way too much the product they are selling. When I called to request a refund they told me that was not possible. They don't give refunds. Now I have to go through the mess of disputing the charge through my credit card company.

😉 Thank you to all the people that took the time to post here. I stumbled across Jumpline.com today while searching for a new host. And after reading the comments here I decided to look more closely at their site. No offense to the people that posted here but it is not uncommon to find people with unhappy experiances to be more vocal than those that are happy. So I started to look at the testimonials on Jumplines own site. I didn't like what i saw. For example "Kim Crothers" of snaps.com is a "customer since 2003" yet a vist to the site brings up a parking page and whois search shows that the dns is point to fabolousdomains.com who is famous for buying and holding domain names to sell. Another example was the testimonial for another "customer since 2003" named First Choice Medical Supply which also shows in a whois search that their domain name is not poting to jumpline. 😠 I can not image that it was a good customer experience that led someone to register and pay for the web site called

If you have customer service problems with Jumpline then try calling their 'Director of Customer Service” (who happens to also be the contact person listed on bbb.org) on 614-586-9866.
And be sure to file a complaint with the BBB.org as well.
Filing with the BBB.org will probably not help you but it will help others from making the same mistake we did by choosing to use Jumpline in the first place.

😠 I'm another one that has gotten charged for a service I no longer wanted. They automatically renewed my account on a credit card they had on file even though it was expired. I submitted a cancellation twice but they claim I didn't. Even when I proved to them that I had submitted a cancellation they said they would not refund my money, It is against their "policy" and I would have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. When I asked for the name of the supervisor of Stacy, the billing manager, they claimed that she didn't have one or that I didn't need to talk to them. Apparently the customer is never right at christanwebhost aka Jumpline.

😠 Wow! Even BBB.org says you suck, and that is an extremely hard thing to achive for this pro-business company that gets paid to make companies look good.
I had signed up all of my clients with Jumpline as far back as 8 years ago (2003). Then Jumpline had an impressive service that was a value leader, but those days are gone. Since the early days of Jumpline’s success they have done nothing to keep current and instead appear to have focused there energy on finding ways to cut corners, reducing quality of customer service and over subscribing their systems to build the negative public perception that Jumpline is known for today. Since Jumpline’s glory days of 2003/4/5 they have built a colossal track record of outages, lousy service, and the worse customer support this well seasoned and experienced computer professional has ever encountered. 😠 Beware the automatic renewal and keeping a credit card on file with Jumpline! I was charged for a service I no longer wanted, and when I tried to cancel, I was told that there are no refunds/grace periods for automatic renewals. 😞 They disable the backup API function so that it is difficult to leave to go to another host.

😠 I switched to Jumpline in 12/09. I've never had so many email issues ever! I have called with issues in January, February, April and June. I'm using Macmail and am not getting consistent email service. I run into issues with mostly outgoing email and friends, family and clients not receiving it. The first time I called they talked me into a dedicated IP address which was more expensive but was supposed to fix the problem - it did not! After repeated calls and finally an unfulfilled request to speak to a manager, I'm requesting a full refund and taking my email business elsewhere. I'm incredibly disappointed with Jumpline and their claims to be able to fix my problem. Good riddance Jumpline!!!

😠 I used to have several accounts with Jumpline when they were Eclipse Hosting. I had good experiences until they were purchased by Jumpline and things went downhill from there. Terrible customer service. Always playing the blame game and never taking responsibility for their service issues. I'd recommend staying far, far away from this company.

😠 I can not say enough bad about Jumpline. I have had so many problems and their support NEVER makes an attempt to make me feel better as a customer. My latest experience is them changing my company MX records and removing ALL "." from them so we did not get email for a day.

When I asked how they would make this up to me and told them I wanted to talk to a supervisor they just ignored me.

😠 I originally came to Jumpline because of the appeal of the VDS and because they are one of the few hosts out there that support ColdFusion.

However, regardless of programming language, I strongly suggest you stay away from Jumpline. Their VDS manager interface is not user-friendly but more importantly, their customer service is atrocious. When suddenly my client sites were down, it took over 12 hours for a support team to get back to me with the question "did you look to see if your files are on the server?"

And now we're near 24 hours and the response hasn't improved at all. I warn you - this will happen to you too if you use Jumpline. Look at nearly all of the other reviews on this page and you'll know to stay away.

😠 I had my site and domain (bienhoangtap.com) hosted on DigitalSpace, aka jumpline from July last year. Everything has been fine since April 10th this year. My site suddenly disappeared without any notice. I even could not log into my account. When I called (from United Kingdom), it took me nearly half an hour to finally get someone answering the phone. And I was told that my site abused their server, produced lots of loads and so on. Meanwhile, my site is only a small forum of roughly 50 people and nothing happened for a long time. The thing made me most angry is that they remove my site without making any contact or support to identify the source of problem. Poor me when I so believed in them that I did not back up my database for a long time since I am quite busy at that moment. When I begged them to put my site online again for a couple of minutes, they promised to do so after 5 - 10 mins but did nothing. It wasted me another couple of value hours. Too angry and disappointed.

😠 This company does not value customer service nor listen to their customers voices. I've complained many times since they were purchased even through snail mail to no avail. They don't actually READ your support tickets more like scan them for a general idea and send you a general response. They value closing tickets quickly than actually resolving any problems that may actually be listed there. Shell accounts are the most limited I've ever seen not even allowing chmod or tar.

If you value customer service stay away from this place.

😁 I have been a customer of Jumpline.com for about 9 years. I have seen other companies come and offer better deals but one thing has kept me a loyal customer to them, a 800 number that I can call and get someone. I am a reseller through them and have over 30 websites. I am extremely satisfied with Jumpline.com service, support and applications. The only thing that i wish they offered is the ability to host my own server. I HIGHLY recommend them.

😠 Jumpline.com is dishonest. I jumped in on the free plan and told them three separate times within a month to cancel my account. They still charged my card $200 and when I disputed the charge they told me too bad and that they wouldn't bill me the following year.

I couldn't believe it when I filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and saw they already have 12 complaints!

😠 This webhosting company is the worst I've ever had the misfortune to give money to. To say they hosted my site is actually untrue. The control panel never worked and it was impossible to upload files so my site never actually appeared, but did they try to solve the problem or offer my years payment back. No but I did so through my credit card company on the grounds that jumpline were incapable of supplying the hosting services I paid for. ie Breach of Contract
