😠 FPweb has the worst Customer Service that I have ever worked/dealt with.
Their support staff has no idea what "Service" is. Our hosted Exchange server has been unstable ever since we signed up for the hosted service. I have asked for callbacks whenever there was an issue and I never received one. Not one. I have seen other posts state that FPWeb's support staff treats you like you are bugging them when you call. I couldn't agree more. That's pretty bad when multiple customers of FPweb are saying that they have experience the same pain.
If I were looking for a hosted solution, I would look somewhere else.

😉 I have a site on this host. I tried to set up wordpress. Guess what it took them a week to tell me they don't support it. I mean c'mon it's only the most popular blogging cms that exists today!!! When I called they were unhelpful and the first person I talked was extremely rude. They try to make it very hard for you to get in touch with them and I think they use a 3rd party to filter all their support stuff. If you are looking for something that kinda works this is for you if you are looking for Quality Go Somewhere Else!!! And I made my choice, I moved to http://www.asphostportal.com. They have good support and their price is cheaper. Recommended!!

😁 I’ve been working with Fpweb.net for over 3 years - they have been hosting all of the sites for my rather unique business. We’ve been through a lot together, and I can honestly say that the support team has, without exception, responded to crisis and everyday problems with a calm professionalism that can only be called amazing.

😁 Going the Extra Mile. Just wanted to share my experience with the SharePoint technical folks at Fpweb.net. Specifically I'd like to praise Andy Milsark. Andy was the technical lead for a migration effort moving from an older virtual system to a dedicated MOSS hosting environment. We had several customizations to move and Andy provided a guiding hand along each step of the way. He went the extra mile to ensure that any issues were rapidly resolved and the migration process didn't miss a beat. Thanks again to Andy and the rest of the great folks at Fpweb.net!

😁 We certainly made the right choice... We phoned Microsoft directly to vent our frustrations with our current WSS site and they determined that much of the problem was our current hosting company's implementation of the site. We asked them for 10 MOSS references whom we could contact. Eight of the ten responded and all of them are hosted by Fpweb.net. So it was not hard to choose where to host our new SharePoint Server. With the kind correspondence and the immediate response of your knowledgable support staff, I can see we made the right choice. Thanks again!

😠 I just wanted to add my two cents. I am also among the unknown number of users who lost everything in the recent fpweb.net crash. After the crash, I found them very reluctant to tell me what happened and they did not call when promised with status.
I finally found out that their servers crashed and their backup system had failed ( backups corrupted ). The idea of disaster recovery includes testing their system: which they obviously failed to do. They did offer me 6 months free after the crash, but they already proved they were unable to guard my data at that point. They also told me that they could restore my site if "I" had backed it up using FrontPage.
Not the kind of service you can depend on.

😠 Same story... They lost everything and acted like we were annoying them by asking where our data went. They also refused to backup or archive any pst data when we said we were switching hosts. Be Warned.... Do Not Use FPWEB if you want your data secure.

😠 I have used FPWeb to host a Sharepoint site for about two years. Initailly I created dozens of users and subsites. About a year ago their server crashed and they could not recover our site. They fixed the problem, obtained some new TI certifications and added an extra special backup of our specific site. We continued using Sharepoint adding dozens of users and sites and hundreds of files. Well this week their server crashed again. All of the backups failed. We have lost hundereds of hours of work.
