😠 STAY AWAY!! We switched from GoDaddy because of cost. Had a huge problem with uptime. Servers are extremely slow. They send a lot of spam if you are doing your emails with them as well

😠 3essentials Hosting services have gone really bad, they don't provide the same customer support like they used to. They would not help me out with a problem we had with their hosting service for months and now I have finally moved my website away from them, they are not even replying to my requests for the refund I am supposed to be getting. They used to be good and I am a loyal customer for years, but now they just fob me off with copied and pasted responses.

😠 STAY AWAY! They claim 100% uptime and 24/7 support. Our server was down for over 8 DAYS in a given month, they claim infrastructure problems with their datacenter. Their speeds are glacially slow and support is slow. I had an issue arise on a Sunday and their supposed 24/7 support didn't get back till Monday am. After that, I would wait HOURS in between email responses.
Bottom line: find a different host.

3Essentials met all my expectations for more than three years. My websites were always up, and response time was good. The few times I submitted tickets, I got quick, polite, and satisfactory replies. However, a few things became deal-breakers, and now I'm looking to change hosts.
The first problem happened when I decided I wanted to host more than one domain name. When I first signed up, they didn't offer a multi-domain plan. By the time I wanted one, they did offer it, and it was only a couple dollars more per month. So I asked that my account be upgraded, but they said they couldn't do that. Instead, I'd have to download all my files, cancel my account, and sign up again as a new customer. I thought that was unreasonable. There's no reason they couldn't just turn on the option that allows multiple domains and bill me the extra couple of bucks.
The second problem was when a PHP application I use got upgraded, and I discovered that it needed PHP 5.3 and that my 3Essentials [read more...]

days of additional work just to prove to them my windows hosting plan wasn't allocated the right amount of resources and then sent them a copy of the original ticket highlighting their original promise...Once they realized it was a check mate Support Manager Damon's response "To be honest, I haven't gone back and read every ticket in your history, I'm not sure that's necessary for the discussion".

After 3 gruelling weeks trying unsuccessfully to set up our small but critical website with unresponsive email-only support from WinHost, we switched to 3Essentials. No canned responses here. Such a contrast. Within a few hours spread over 2 days, the site was up and running faster than at WinHost. The support team worked through the myriad config issues (among many others!) with unfailing politeness, patience, professionalism, and downright HELPFULNESS in every case - as did sales. We are relieved and delighted to be associated with this host!

😠 I have been with 3essentials for more four years, it is the worst experience ever! I've not been able to receive emails in my inbox for more than a year, and I'm not able to access my email account when I'm overseas, whether it's in Japan, China, US or in any of the countries in Europe, and I've been writing to them for more than a year asked for help, they practically ignored it. I had to set up another account for forwarding all the emails, oddly enough all the emails arrived in my forwarding address, but many are still missing from my inbox with 3essentials. Not to mention the poor customer service I received from their tech stuff. I wrote a complain letter to their customer service, not even heard a reply from them on my complain letter. The tech manager wrote me back trying to solve the problem, without apologizing for all the inconvenience that their inadequate service has brought. I'm so fed up with them, and will for sure change a hosting company ,and will never ever recommend

I wanted a company I could pay on a monthly basis because I didn't have a lot of money at the time, but I wanted to get started as soon as possible. It's a little more expensive to pay monthly, but if you want to pay by the year or by two years you'll save a great deal. Having now tested them out for awhile now, I'll probably sign up for a year. This way I'll save some money and not have to worry about paying for awhile.
Before I signed up I had a few questions. Part of the reason for these questions was to see their sales or tech supports response time in case I ever had a problem. Each time they responded in a very timely matter.

😁 I started off with a "larger" hosting company, and within a matter of 24 hours I realized I made a mistake. 3essentials has been my saving grace! Every aspect of the process has been wonderful. From picking my hosting package, to setting up the site. This is truly a user friendly service!

😁 3Essentials would like to take this opportunity to provide the facts regarding the Tropicalboat.com rating. 3Essentials did not make any changes to this customer account. Furthermore, we have documented proof via our log files that shows the owner of the site, or someone the owner gave access to, enabled a feature on their PLESK control panel that enabled this java re-direct.
As confirmed by the customer (after the posting of this rating), once 3Essentials was made aware of a problem with the customers site we identified the change (that we didn't make) and disabled the feature that had been enabled in PLESK. From the opening of the original ticket, until the removal of the feature was about one hour.
At no time has 3Essentials been served with a law suit.
After many days of back and forth explanations, the customer has stated to us:
"I have no complaints and no hard feelings against 3Essentials. Please feel free to close this dispute."

😠 BUSINESSES BEWARE!!! I am the owner of Miami yacht charter company (www.tropicalboat.com). In September this year we outsourced our web hosting to 3Essentials. As we learned (a very hard way) the company used a javascript as a redirect to our main "index" page. Since search engines can not follow this, we were dropped nearly instantly from ALL search engines - there went our thousands of hours and dollars put into search engine optimization! Just like this.. gone! Prior to this we were on the first position on major search engines. And since majority of our clientele came from the search engines directly you can only imagine the losses that we have incurred! This company is absolutely unsuitable and unfit for any type of business hosting, and should not be doing so!!! We currently have a pending lawsuit against 3AEssentials and we want to WARN ALL BUSINESSES: please stay away!
