I started with Servergrid for company purposes, and for a while i found the service to be very good. i was pleased with control panel, which had a lot of options, some of it did not actually work though(which they blamed due to a bug with HSphere, but more then likely due to them not configuring properly)

Overall for a few months i was generally pleased, did what i wanted. but when you start getting problems, you seem to keep getting them, the site loaded slowly, email would randomly stop working for a while. Sometimes bigs on the control panel would cause of the entire site to stop and had to have my account reset several times, while we got quick replies, this should not have happened in the first place.

After renewing my contract for 1 year, after about a month in, it just became painfully slow and email broke again, i had enough. on top of all the bugs, slow downs, downtimes and the constant updating (which is nice) but please TELL customers when so we can know when our sites wont be working. And they update various key backend stuff like PHP, ASP and so on without telling you, and at one point the update had completely ruined the site. and broke tons of code.

We asked to cancel. which happened very quick, only 1 month in all so. We had credits on our account which were about $30 and paid about $70 for the years hosting, i have not got a refund and when asked i was stonewalled constantly even by live chat staff, after being a customer for over a year and this is the way they treat me, there excuse is "We do not offer refunds for credits, and hosting has to be refunded within 3 days of charging the account) WTF!! 3 days, most banks can even process payments in less then 3 days, let alone, cancelling after being charged which wont show up for about 24 hours anyway.

In the end, i emailed telling them i would write a review, but they have let me down, and thus i can not write a good review about them. They are not honest, and you can get same hosting for much cheaper and much more reliable. Just avoid completely, and people who say "i never had problems" i know its rubbish, and do not believe any excuses you are given from them, because they just do not care about honesty or respect for the customer.
