Servage offers a lot of real disk space and bandwidth (510GB of storage and 5010GB/month of bandwidth) for a ridiculous price: currently $4.90/month if you use the CRA100 coupon at signup.
Servage is based in Europe and offers only linux shared hosting.
You can expect some minor downtimes (minutes), but nothing that should last a lot of time, due to the clustered nature of their server.
You can host unlimited domains, create unlimited subdomains, use all the common linux scripting languages, use .htaccess with mod_rewrite and more...
Support staff replies 24/7 and very fast to support tickets (< 20 minutes), but unfortunately not always with perfect and pertinent answers. It might take a couple of tickets to get a proper answer.
The control panel they use is custom (no cpanel/plesk) and not very advanced, but it will let you do most things in an easy and safe way.
They should work a bit on it.
The only thing I feel is really missing is the lack of access to raw log files (they only give some basic statics).
