For sure, you wont find better prices than santrex. Low cost, good service and plenty of features.
The weakest point of santrex is their relationship with clients and support. Although they are improving this feature, i feel that is not enough. All support tickets are answered as " please wait kindly, we are working to solve your problem ". Sometimes takes hours and hours of wainting before they reply, but after they read your ticket they start working.
My first experience with a Santrex Linux Unmetered Vps ( German location ) was good, and service was activated as soon as i payed. RAM and CPU usage are fair for a $10 bucks vps. Speed tests were also exellent. I downloaded files from rapidshare and download.com and got 10.000kbs. So i could download 700mb in less than 5 minutes.
Perhaps the worst about santrex vps is that you get several small downtimes, from 2 or 3 minutes to 15, due to server abuse or maybe because overcrowded servers. ( no one can offer a $10 vps with unlimited cpu usage and unlimited bandwidth in an uncrowded server.. thats for sure )
Windows Unmetered Vps took 24hs to setup. The remote desktop works great, but a bit slow. Uploading and downloading speed is not the strongest point and got only 2MB speed. Its very slow compared to linux unmetered vps.
You can install every software you like, without asking permision, or solicitating santrex to do it for you, and that is very important.
Reseller Hosting gives you the possibility to choose from serveral locations, as same as vps. Netherland seems the best and fastest option, but once again, offering Reseller, Master Reseller and Alpha Reseller accounts on the same servers, turn speed very slow, with serveral small downtimes, mainly because of abusers that run rapidleech or sell hosting accounts with unlimited everything for less than $1.
All reseller plans run Cpanel + WHM with litepspeed server.
Payment options is perhaps the strongest point of this company. They accept the most popular payment systems including Western Union for countries where Credit Cards are a problem.
