I recently receive a email from MoonFruit.com techincal support which made me aware that is was time to move on to a true and more supportive technical support staff. A more efficient, and shorter down time in getting answers to issues on software problems. I am not a new customer but a customer who has been with MoonFruit for 2-3 years now. Never really had a complaint with the software or customer support (everything was fine) 'UNTIL' they made an upgrade to the new software now in place. Never had a problem with pictures being too big or small, or page being too heavy. For the past couple of months I have been having problems with there own flash animations they provide. But here is a recent email sent to me sent to me regarding a inquiry ticket sent to them on Nov 17th, 2010. Below is the email sent to me from MoonFruit.com. If your looking for a reliable web hosting company with excellent or immediate support, this is the NOT the company you may want to choose. But I will leave that for you to decide. Please read the email send to me by MoonFruit support staff.

Our entire Support Team and some of the Development Team (plus our in-house tester) have investigated the problems that you are encountering and we are all in agreement that good website design principles have not been employed on the site 'scooterchromeparts.t83.net' nor has any of our advice been listened to with regards reducing animations, graphics and imagen sizing on your home page. When viewing your site as a site visitor, it is extremely difficult to navigate as all of the machines that we have tested it on slow down to a crawl making it near impossible to run other applications. This is not something we have encountered with any other website. This makes for a bad browsing experience for your site visitors and would effectively cause them to leave your site before too long.
You can take this advice or leave - that is your choice but please do bombard us with tickets requesting further assistance, or use language that is unprofessional and aggressive, or threaten to use the forum. We have no problem with complaints in the forum and we take it on the chin when we do make mistakes but in your case we feel we have advised repeatedly workable solutions to the site resource hogging you have encountered and seen attempts by you to take this advice. What are we to do then?

So where do we stand? We simply need you to revisit our replies and advice and think again how this can be used with your website. If you are unwilling to accept these suggestions and you are unhappy with our service or our software then you are free to look elsewhere for a system that will meet your needs. We certainly do not wish our customers to go elsewhere but this is a bilateral relationship where we offer common sense advice to issues when contacted for help. We feel we have done this. Not a problem. Thank you for your best and most negative recommendation. I have worked really hard to make my website look really good. All the work I have done has been with very little knowledge. I left another hosting company which was really great, but was all flash base site. I have had a good experience in the past with your hosting with no issues, but now you have change what was already working with this recent upgrade. I have had other members of yours who I have contact, which has had the same feedback as I have.

In close, it seems that it took you a while to answer this inquiry (2 days), yet with a negative attitude as to stay or leave, but stop complaining. I have all rights to complaint, I am the customer you are the provider. As I said before, when I started this with you guys, the software was working fine till you made the upgrade. I have cleanup my website significantly from how it looked before. As you have advised, I do need to work on the pictures, they are too large ( as you suggested). And as you can see from my folders, I have started to do so already.

But no dought, I would not recommend your website to any other startup retailer who wants to sell there products. Your software is good, but not great. It seems that I pressed your buttons and you did not like it. I complaint about your service and you answered negatively. 70% of the times your answers took to long to get back to me. Time frame is 24 hours for an answer. This time your answer to took 48 hours (2 days), just to hear you guys say clearly: if you don't like it leave!

Thank you so much for your answer on this inquiry, it's been the best recommendation I have gotten from you in 2-3 years of being your customer. I have seen many negative remarks about your customer service, and fair remarks about your new software upgrade in other reviews. Not a problem, I will stay and keep working on my website and resolve my issues on my own I guest: but will definitely take a course in dreamweaver, or frontpage and look for another hosting company.
