Please read this review. I never fill these things out, but I fell like these guys actually need to be shot down. They boast all about their 24/7 customer service. You know what you get when you call their "24/7 customer service"? Somebody with a bunch of excuses that eventually tells you that you need to contact a different department during their standard opperating hours, not 24/7. Do you want to know who responds to you when you contact that other department dureing thier standard opperating hours? Well if you are lucky enough to get a response, you get sombody else who has no idea what is going on and says that they are forwarding your ticket to their supervisor. Well I havent heard from the supervisor yet, and Im not sure if I ever will. And so you can understand how bad this is, I will tell you exactly what it is that is so difficult for them to do. I wanted help renewing my domain name that I had transfered to them. I am so frustrated with these guys that I feel it is my duty to make sure nobody ever goes through this. I have never had worse service. I cant say it enough. So they cant even answer a simple domain name quesion. What would have happened if I asked them something a little more complex? Say like backing up my files. Okay so that said. I decided to go and so some research, so that maybe I could help them to renew my domain name. It turns out that they actually hire somebody else to register your domain name. They use a company call enom for domain names. Now thats questionable in itself, but listen to this. So I wrote them back (I tried the live chat thing this time because nothing else had worked so far) and said "hey, I see that you have my name registered with enom. is the problem with them?" The response was "No, please wait I am working on this." Okay so no exageration when I tell you this. I give the guy 20 minutes to respond before writing back again. I start writing iquiring about what else the problem can be. I send a few submissions before I feel like there is nobody on the other end. Im going crazy? "are you there?' "hello?" heres the response. "yes, I am here. I am just trying to figure out this enom thing" By the end he said he was passing my ticket on to his supervisor. I wondering if this is the same supervisor that the other guy sent me to that I still havent heard from. So this must be a joke right? I mean how can a company register sombody elses domain name with another company that they dont know how to communicat with? Nope. This is not a joke this is for real. And this is only one of the many complaints that I have about this company. So if you have made it this far in this review. Please please, for your own sake, do not even think about using micfo as for any reason at all. They are absolutely horrible. They boast the cheapest prices around, and that is exactly what they live up to. The cheapest support money can buy. DONT DO IT.
