Customer Relation
If you check the date of the earlier MediaCatch reviews here (the reviews registered before the last couple of years), you will find excellent reviews. I have used MediaCatch for several years.

However, the later reviews - the bad reviews - correspond with the time when the original MediaCatch owners (terrific folks) sold the business to another individual - the guy who owns the febox hosting company.

It is the new MediaCatch ownership that has caused the severe decline in customer service. You are encouraged to call the febox company (febox dot com) to confirm the new ownership. The reason for the severe decline in MediaCatch customer service may be confirmed by checking the dates of the bad testimonials and comparing those dates with the time that the original owners sold the business to the febox owner.

In defense of the new MediaCatch owner (the guy who owns febox) , it is indeed in his authority to operate MediaCatch in any legal manner that he wishes. It is evident that he has chosen to eliminate the cost (i.e., time) associated with the once easily accessible real-person MediaCatch customer service in favor of a more automated and substantialy less customer-centric service. Thus, he (the new MediaCatch owner - the guy who owns febox) has chosen to address the low price point service (i.e., MediaCatch) and the higher price point service (febox) with the differentiated services.

So, when considering the MediaCatch hosting service please do not believe unsubstantiated and rash comments. The new MediaCatch customer service experience is exactly the way the new owner has designed it to be. If you prefer; as I do, to be able to speak with a real-person by phone regarding hosting service and support issues, then the present MediaCatch service is certainly not a viable option and you will need to pursue, as I am, a different hosting provider. If; however, you do not mind the absence of real-person accessibility via phone, and a sometimes (not always) prolonged response in the matter of support issues, then MediaCatch may be a suitable solution.
