Do not believe the glowing 5 star reviews! They are fakes put up by shills.

When they first started out, LowestHosting offered a bare bones web hosting service at a comparatively low price. The tools they provided were clunky and crude, but you figured you got what you paid for. But their service has not kept up with advances in technology and various competitors offer better services at better prices.

But the worst part is their "customer service". If you ever do need to put in a ticket for a problem, their responses are rude and unprofessional. You waste days responding to their nasty emails claiming the problem is not their fault before they actually fix the problem they caused in the first place.

Steer clear of LowestHosting.com. There are far better and more reputable services out there.
At first we thought this was a Fake review since Tim didn’t leave a full name or website we figured it was either a prankster or a competitor.

After doing some research using the IP address captured by the review site we were able to compare it to our system logs and identify that Tim was (and still is) our client

Tim waited some time before ever contacting our support department due to his website appearing down. His web server was online the problem was his domain was suspended because Tim never updated his domain information which resulted in registry verification notifications being rejected and eventually his domain was suspended by the registry.

Tim emailed our support department which created a ticket and our staff promptly gave him the procedure to log into his account and update his domain and approve a new registry notice which is a simple 5 minute procedure. Unfortunately Tim did not follow the instructions and made accusations that our service was poor because he pays us for domain renewals and felt we should also maintain his domain information. Our staff explained that not only is it his responsibility to maintain accurate contact information for his billing, users and domains but we could not possibly know which email address he wants to use or if the address in place is one that is working or if he checks it often.

After multiple attempts to instruct Tim how to update his information our staff did the update for him and Tim finally verified his domain and his services then began working but Tim had to have the last word and posted outright lies on this review board.

1. He claimed all reviews are fake when in fact they are valid, ip verified and you can do a whois and see most all are still hosting with us and they were proud enough to leave their names or companies and website addresses unlike Tim who left an anonymous review.

2. his claim that our systems have not kept up with advances of technology is patently false. Not only did we upgrade to cPanel which is considered the industry leading control panel but we have improved cPanel with Advanced Custom Spam Filter threshold and multi keyword and ip blacklists and public firewall warning and self unblock system. Billing systems were also upgraded and we run the industry standard WHMCS billing and domain management that has also been optimized.

3. his accusation on pricing is also false, we have never raised our Domain or Hosting pricing since we began in 2000 you can verify this with archive.org and we are less expensive than all the other major hosts most all who have introductory pricing then raise it by 50% when it renews and we include daily and archival backups that other hosts charge extra for and our up-time is better than 99.98%

We don’t control ICANN domain validation rules and if Tim did the same thing with any other Domain provider he would have had the same exact result and if we were truly so horrible one would have to wonder why Tim who began hosting with us in 2003 would have waited so long to complain.

Lowesthosting.com strives to go above and beyond to help our clients and as anyone can see by reading Tims ticket our USA based staff was courteous, prompt and professional.
