As a relatively new customer to Hostupon I was drawn to the company through a banner displayed on PHPMotion.com, for those in the know, that is a free software for streaming video and if you know streaming video then you know that you need a fast server to deliver that kind of content. Alas, while I do stream some video from my sites, as a multi-media artisan I figured if it could handle that it could handle just about anything I would need to display my art and music in particular my 3D virtual worlds. Working lately as a virtual architect I need to be able to have a direct link to objects and scripts that load the 3D world efficiently. So far in my short time with Hostupon, things have run very well and remarkably fast considering I am only testing HostUpon's least expensive totally shared service which means my site is performing as well as it is despite sharing 'space' with up to 100 other clients!

Of course being able to run multiple domains means I am responsible for about about half a dozen websites so it is hard to say how many actual websites are being hosted if 100 people are hosting multiple website... yikes.. scarey to think... yet as I have said, it runs remarkably well with few glitches. That said, Customer Support is REAL as this morning I had an issue with not being able to access my website and was told that my previous days attempt to log in to an email account 5 times with erroneous log in information had created a block on my IP address so it 'appeared' as if all my sites were down! To me that is. At first I was dismayed but looking at the security issue that might have presented I understand and customer support quickly gave me back my access (thanks Luke). I would offer a suggestion that to improve that service perhaps an email advisory would have been a good followup to explain what had been done? Anyway good humanistic service, only in Canada you say? Yes warm and real and actually ONLINE!

So I just want to say, as long time web user and designer I look forward to continued hosting relations with this company and wish them well.
