Their uptime stats are a lie. Every time they do a backup the process hogs cpu cycles to the point the websites hosted on the box go down for hours. They record that as "uptime" because power was never cycled on the server. It's due to technical ineptitude. It can take 8 hours for them to respond to a ticket like when they turn FTP off on a reseller account inexplicably. Their price is pegged to HostGator which is a far better value for the support. After 7 years I just got tired of their attitude that the problems were all the users fault. Lost confidence in their management. They refused to give me a refund on a yearly package after knocking down 15 of my sites for 3 hours one day doing a backup. Said that was part of their service agreement although their lies about uptime of 99.9% uptime guarantee are on every page of the site. Newbies and experienced hosting users - my recommendation is - don't go there. You could get ripped off badly the way I did and you could damage your Google reputation with all their downtime.
