the worst service ever
I own a webdesign company, we offer hosting to our clients as as value added service.
People warned me about Godaddy, but I admit I never had an issue with Godaddy that could not be solved in a couple hours.
But I have been told that for "heavier" application I needed eUkhost because of their customer service.
And when I started working with them (3 years ago) they were spakling I must admit.
But in the pas year I had so many troubles with my sites you could not imagine. They switch servers and they don't make sure that the site are back working. When I told them the site not working, they took days to fix the simpliest problems. Also now I am waiting for them to fix 3 sites of mine. The fact is that 10 years ago I was doing the same job they do and I know how long it takes to fix those problems: it takes 10 minutes providing that you got a backup copy of the site (that you should have) and the will to fix the problem. I suspect they outsourced the customer support to some cheap company god nkows where and they are not organized to do the job at an europen standard of quality.
Whatever the reason is: because of them I got many complaints from my customers (some threatening me of lawsuit as it can happen when the customer is big), I had to open an Arvixe account for the last websites as I no longer trust eUkhost (I am not promoting Arvixe as I still don't know their customer service), and then spend time and money to remove all my sites from eUkhost.
