Be careful, this company may not be as professional as it appears.
We have been hosting several web sites on a dedicated server with eSucuredata for about 1 year. Inspite of all the hype about battery backup and generators and bulletproof hosting facilities my server was down twice in the last few months.
Once because of an ice storm that somehow shut down their "redundant" backbone connection. And just this week, a 5 hour blackout that left me with a fried hard drive. Of course, I had a backup drive on that dedicated server so I wasn't too concerned until their tech team replaced my first drive, and somehow lost my backup drive.
At first, it appeared they had overwritten my backup drive, with the new install, but the backup was finally recovered about 24 hours later. You can image the stress of that situation. They were prompt in their communication during this crisis, but not always accurate.
The backup systems and redundancies they have in place are of little comfort to me now, as they don't seem to work. And after misplacing my backup drive and costing me an extra day off line, I have lost confidence in their tech staff. I can no longer recommend eSecurdata as a hosting serve.
