Worst Customer Service Ever
I've been client with them for a short while and I have to say I'm not impressed. I pay 20$ for ADSL+ service + 10$ for a phone line.
When I signed up, I was promised a measly 3Mbit/sec connection which I was fine with as long as it didn't drop. Yesterday I was having problem with my connection and decided to test the speed of my connection. It dropped to 0.5Mbit/sec for download. That's when I decided to call the customer service BUT I got a voice mail. Their tech service is closed from 9pm to 8am. No way to know if there was a problem on their end or mine. So I left a message and got a call back the next morning at 8:15am.
I have to admit, they impressed me for about 5 seconds... until the technician calling me started speaking. The first thing she did is now inquire about my problem but started to justify the tech support opening hours. Once that got out of the way, she plainly said the problem was on my end, that they didn't experience any problem on their end. Never has she offered some tips or any kind of help.
I was with Videotron before and even though it was sometimes long to speak with a tech person, I was always answered and the technician actually tried to help me when I was experiencing a problem.
If you think about getting internet through ColbaNet think about twice and cross your fingers if you need help. They probably have the WORST customer service I've ever experienced, I really regret signing up with them. And guess what, I'm stuck with a 1 year contract...
