Terrible customer service!

Our website has pages indexed on Google with its temporary URL - IP/~user/ The support team assured me prior to the migration that no temporary URLs would be indexed in Google unless there are actually links with that temporary URL.

That being said, after my site migration my blog and forums were not working correctly for a couple of days. The support said this was because the DNS was not fully migrated yet. Anyway, I had a feeling that this had nothing to do with the DNS, so I started digging in the settings of my forum and blog. I was shocked to find out that my settings both for the forum and blog were modified from $settings['homeurl'] = "http://www.mysite.cm/forums"; to $settings['homeurl'] = "http://IP/~user".

I contacted the support and all they said was "We do not have any control of what goes into the search engine. The person should never have assured you that it would or would not show up there. Now the search engine does update itself and that url will eventually disappear. If you want to get if off as soon as possible you will need to contact google about this."

I was informed that no site and code changes would be done during the migration, and they even don't seem to admit it is their fault. Because of that error my blog and forum pages got indexed and this exposed my site to duplicate content issues. I'm disappointed with BlueHost and I know this is not my last destination when it comes to hosting. Also, in the past I had changed my host 3 times. All my previous hosting providers had handled my cPanel migration free or charge and without any issues. BlueHost migration was costly and unprofessional $99 and with many issues.

There are more examples that show what a bad customer service they have. For example, before the migration I asked if my Awstats can be moved too. I told them if they can't move my Awstats I will not sign up with BlueHost. So they assured me they will move it. After the migration I was informed my site is moved. When I asked them if Awstats was also moved the person told me no. I was very upset and emailed them back. Then another support person replied and apologized on behalf of the other guy who was not trained yet. I can give more and more examples like that. So far I'm not with the impression that these guys know their stuff. This is the worst customer service ever!
