Earlier this month my email service was unavailable for two days. I couldn't get anyone to respond to my support ticket. I tried live chat. I got disconnect three times in a row, wasting 90 minutes of my time. I tried calling their phone support. The guy just tells me it's working (when it wasn't). I go to their support discussion boards, and find the admins realize there's been a problem (for two days). So why didn't anyone in the "support" staff seem to know what their admins knew about server issues?

This week, email is down again! I report a new ticket. It took 48 hours to get anyone to respond to that ticket. Their response, "are you still having a problem?" Unbelievable!

Then I went back on to chat. The guy there was painfully slow and unhelpful. He couldn't seem to communicate to a technical person (me).

He eventually asked me to telnet to my email server. That failed to connect (duh!).

He then asks me to use traceroute to my email server. That's failed to connect (duh!).

50 hours later and I'm writing this review, and I still cannot connect to my email server. 50 hours later, and nobody has done anything to resolve the issue.

This month my email service has been down for 5 of the past 12 days. I have to constantly ping them to give me support. My tickets, requests, phone calls, all are going into a black hole.

Terrible - this is not what I signed up for. It was not like this before. WTF happened to these guys? I'm not looking forward to transferring my domain.

Please note that in cases where a servers services are unreachable it can be out of Arvixe's control to get it fixed (there could be issues with the ISP ports/IP ranges blocked). Please note that we do offer web-mail services in your browser that you can connect to in cases like this. We do want to continue working with you and Arvixe managers have been notified. We have our server team looking over your ticket and it should be updated shortly. Our QA team will be looking into this to see why our support techs did not have the proper information. In cases like this we highly recommend e-mailing QA as it is a team of managers that make sure issues are handled with the utmost priority and handled correctly.
