Hello,

I have been with Ace Host for almost 4 years now and it's no secret that they had a rough and bumpy start during their first set of years in business. You can easily see this by searching through Hosting Review web sites for Ace Host. However, There is one main point that I would like to bring up right away to anyone reading this. I've noticed that when people are happy, satisfied with how things are going, and making money, they're certainly not going to take their precious time to go out and write a web hosting review on that web host. Now if we look on the flip side of this, someone who is angry/upset, maybe their information was deleted in a server crash, and their not making any money on their web sites, then by all means their going to go out of their way to get revenge if they can in some way. How would one person do that? Simple, they attempt to put a dent in that companies business bad writing bad reviews about their company name. Sounds fair enough anyways right?

Well, I pretty much started hosting with them almost 4 years ago like I said. The only reason I even considered them at the time is because they were one of the only handful of hosts offering the hosting that I needed for really really cheap ($5ish a month). Despite all the bad reviews and horror stories I read, I purchased their cheap Web Hosting Special plan and started up my brand new blog empire. I did have some understanding that they were going through issues from the reviews that I read before signing up, and I certainly had my doubts about them. Months went by and I noticed that I hadn't experienced any downtime. Now I have been with my fair share of hosts prior to when I started blogging (OS Commence) and usually there is some kind of couple minute outage or service failure here and there at the very least. Usually on my older web hosting providers, I would see a incident similar to that within the first 6 months (minimum). So, About six months went by and I still hadn't seen any kind of downtime. I just ignored it at first and went on with my business and couldn't have been happier about how things were going so smoothly with this host, especially considering the price I was paying at the time. I thought maybe I was lucky and placed on a newer or servely underloaded server I thought.

About almost 2 years into my hosting term, I finally got my first minute of downtime. While most would be mad at this kind of thing, I was actually surprised that I hadn't seen anything like this way way earlier on in my 3 year contract term I had with them. Now I had submitted a handful of Technical Support tickets prior to all of this of course through their Support Ticket System. All my questions were *always* answered within 5 to 10 minutes. I swear on my life, I'm not lying about this. I always considered this always happened like it did because my questions were pretty simple and straight forward, not requiring much configuration on their end , if any at all. So, I submitted my first downtime ticket during incident to find out what the deal was with the server and my web site. I received a response less then 5 minutes stating that their was an issue with the raid array or something like that, and required a server reboot. I was assured my web sites would be up as soon as the server came back online. After I was done reading the response, I refreshed my web site in my browser and I was back online. This is when I thought to myself that this might really be the best host I have ever been with or even heard of.

About another year went by and I was informed that my websites would be down for a period of time while they migrated all accounts to brand new Enterprise grade servers in their new Data Center that they moved too. I was told that I wouldn't be charged a dime less for this upgrade. I was already happy enough with what I had, but I couldn't complain about the upgrade either. About 8-10 months or so went by and I decided to upgrade from my older plan to their Enterprise 2.0 plan which basically gives me all the resources you would expect on a Virtual Private Server. It cost about 2 times more a month, but I was given 500GB space, and "Unmetered" bandwidth and tons of other cool stuff they came out with. Now when this usually happens you think of over selling, but not a single time did I ever experience a slow up due to this. They also recently posted a live graph of the servers CPU usage in my cPanel account. I don't know if the graph is correct, but I don't see any reason for them to lie with the service I been getting from them already. I'm sorry for making this review so big as it really wasn't my intentions to do so. I'll try to finish it up now.

My point and goal of this review on Ace Host is to show my support, respect, and my deep gratitude to this company. Everywhere I look online, their name is slammed around pretty hard from a lot of really old reviews and they have certainly redeemed themselves in my book. I wasn't there for the bad, but I was there for the good. I consider this to be the best Shared Web Hosting company in the world, or damn close to being. There are mountain's of proof that reflect this all over and I think there should be more people standing up for them and they deserve a better reputation from the improvements they've made! In my opinion, this is a web hosting company that the others should be fearing! I believe that once more people catch on and realize what they have to offer, other hosts will be forced to follow suit. People are tired of downtime guarantee's because what good is a $5 credit (1 weeks down time on a $20/month package)? If you lose all your traffic trades and your website is down for a week? Is it really worth your email not functioning, lost search engine ratings, and the embarrassment you get when your clients and friends visit your web page? No it's not.

Again, I am sorry to take up so much of your time if you have actually read this far. This company has well earned this review from me 100x times over, and I hope people can see past all these bad reviews that I see online that are over 3-4 years old. I wrote an extended article on one of my blogs about Ace Host, with much more in depth and details of what they offer and my experiences with them. If you are interested in reading it, you can get to it by visiting this link: http://www.computerquestionhelp.com/ace-host.html. I know that it's kind of spammy, but I believe it will truly help someone who does want to know more about Ace Host and how they perform business in this day and age from one of their real clients. If an Administrator has to remove it, no hard feelings, I understand.

Thank you for allowing me to post in this, and if you read everything that I wrote above, I'm sure you can understand why this company deserves this review with all the hard hits they have taken on in the past.

Thank you for reading!
