I am about to sue these people!
All the negative reviews are true. Plus at one point ALL of my hosted sites just vanished. After days of trying to get an answer I was told that my sites had been "accidentally" deployed on a test server, that had subsequently been decommissioned. I fiannaly migrated all of my sites to another provider and cancelled my account with Uptime, but it's been 6 months and they are STILL charging my credit card. Stay away!

Their customer service is not bad - it is NON-EXISTANT. They are awful to deal with.

STAY AWAY. They can offer to pay me to host my sites and I would decline.

No matter how cheap they are, they are overpriced.

Just google Vistapages Inc and you will find everything. This company is one man show. Just fooling people and he will give you serious damage.

Uptime Host Picks Lightspeed Web Server - Canadian cloud-based web hosting services provider Uptimehost (www.uptimehost.com) has has chosen New Jersey-based LiteSpeed Technologies' (www.litespeedtech.com) Web Server as the platform for its soon-to-be-officially-launched "Clustered Cloud," which could fill an obvious void in the Canadian hosting marketplace.
After vigorous testing on its Clustered Cloud platform, according to Uptimehost's Friday announcement, LiteSpeed's web server technology out performed the Apache web server, resulting in the company fully deploying LiteSpeed across its cloud. Uptimehost marketing and business development director Kaumil Patel said "Lightspeed basically kicked Apache's rear-end."

I hate to say anything negative about a hosting company (usually I just keep my mouth shut), but I had a very poor experience with UptimeHost.

I was one of their first customers, back when they were in beta, and I had high hopes for them. Kaumil was extremely quick to respond to my support requests. But after a while he left the company, and customer service dropped to zero.

This became a problem when uptime and server speed got worse. I really tried to give them time to improve, but the complete lack of customer support was unacceptable.

I wouldn't go so far as to call them scammers, but they're definitely negligent and perhaps not too scrupulous. I definitely would not recommend them.

I subscribe for a reseller account, since August 10th 2010.
For then, the customer support was speedy.
They never activated my account, the domain I subscribed is stell not yet mine...
Despite all the emails I have sent, no response from their support team.
It is confirmed for me they are a scam company, once your money get inside their account they just say thanks!

Uptime is extremely slow, if ever, to respond to issues including your website being down.

Their "100% guarantee" is complete crap. They are currently around 75% with us and have NEVER offered any sort of financial compensation despite the crap on their website.

There is no phone support, and I finally got a response to my "website is down" email.... two weeks later with no apology or explanation just "hey, we might have fixed our terrible service"

Funny thing, our website just went down again.

We are leaving them this weekend.

The level of customer support from Uptime Host is abysmal. Basically impossible to get anyone to answer either a phone call or a chat request. Little regard to the customers satisfaction or the effect of their lack of service on their customers business. When our site on Uptime Host was hacked, there was little or no response. "Help Tickets" are not answered -- we sent in a second help ticket (same information previously provided to Uptime Host):

“My website is having continuous problems. Late Thursday/early Friday it was hacked, and then the pages returned and everything was normal.

But then later in the day the pages disappeared, and the site is still not functioning properly – none of the pages appear.

My original help ticket regarding the hacking was never resolved because problems with my site have continued.”

This help ticket was never directly addressed. Three follow-up help tickets were sent that same day and one of my employees spent a good part of the day [read more...]

I found out about Uptimehost sometime last year off the Drupal forums as I was constantly having issues with my cpanel shared web host. I joined them during their beta testing and they definitely had their share of issues, but that's what beta is for right? During the beat, the service worked better than my previous host, who was going down very frequently and then later decided to tell me to leave or to find a vps provider. Problem is, I don't know how to manage a server, which is why I went with a shared hosting provider.

Since being out of beta testing, Uptimehost has definitely been a lot more reliable, there's more communication and I can see exactly what my site is using on their cloud through their cloud manager. They use cPanel too! I get digged every so often and my site stays up and fast.

If they invest into a bit more support as they grow, I think this company will be the end all of all other cheap budget hosts.

They took down their forums and are now charging $26/month in emails you backdated to the time I signed up. What the hell? When I signed up, it never asked for billing information and said it was FREE until I hit a certain limit of used resources, and now they're trying back-bill me?

I went out of my way to do business with the owners of UpTimeHost.com. I started with Hostingplex and was happy until they were bought by HostMDS, which in my opinion are lowlife varmints. If you want to see why I feel this way go here: http://www.hostmdssucks.com/

With HostMDS, I went through a month of my site being largely down. I then searched on LinkedIn for Kevin, who was the original owner of Hostingplex. The reason was I always felt Kevin really cared about keeping his customers websites, e-mail & FTP access working. And all for a very good price. Now the support was good but the communication back to me the customer was spotty. But for me, I would rather them spend their time & effort on maintaining their systems than answering my questions like, “why did this go down?”

After finding Kevin I asked what he was doing and he replied he was opening a new hosting company UpTimeHost.com. I asked him how long until he would by up & running & he said about a week. So I waited [read more...]

Usually I don't bother responding to overt negativity but the above post from Mirdad should not be taken without an antidote...

First of all, Mr. Patel has been professional and responsive to me as a new customer. See the forum, or sign up for a the free trial and email him yourself. UptimeHost is still in a sort of beta phase and they have no reason to run, they have a good service and it's improving.

STAY AWAY!!! Mr. Kaumil Patel is the biggest scam around. They took my money and ran. I had to cancel my credit card because of these fraudsters.
