I've experienced the downtime issues as stated by Andy and it has been frustrating. I've had 3 periods in which my sites were down. Two lasted for less than 48 hours but one lasted for several days. Although it appears that this last outage was due to a targeted attack on their servers. That being said, if my sites were active I would have had to refund the subscription fee for the days of downtime to my customers and my company's reputation (and bottom line) would have suffered.
I chose Ubiquity because I needed a hosting provider that offered Java, Tomcat and PostgreSQL along with a good web hosting feature set. And at the time Ubiquity seemed to be the best choice compared to the other web hosting providers that I found.

As we had just paid the renewal we requested some money back but was told no and if we contact PayPal they would no longer correspond with me! Even worse is I contacted them as we have a resellers account and informed them that due to all sites being suspended and still no resolution we would like to cancel our newly set up USD 200 + Resellers account and we would not be asking for a refund. Quite simply we could not put our corporate name to hosting with these kind of issues!
However as we have another package which enables us 3 domains we have had to move two onto another host as 5 days downtime is too long, their servers being compromised, and suspending all sites [read more...]

I'm a software developer and was lured to use Ubiquity Hosting because they offered mono and SSH access. Since I started using their servers my clients reported broken mail delivery, long access times and fairly often complete dead server problems.
I've never written a review but these guys really got me ticked off with their dumb answers when you ask them to check something. They always throw it back to you, no matter how many people are telling them its on Ubiquity Hosting's end.
Arrogant and slightly retarded customer service that will tell you one fable after another as long as they can keep playing their xbox over there.
Don't use them and if you do; i told you so.
Also, it seems they're posting rave reviews about themselves all around using the names of their support staff, pretty dumb and see-trough. If you consider these guys, then please, do yourself a favor and please spend another 5 minutes digging up reviews on them.
