😠 Criminals period. Sold me a VPS service and nerver provided the drive capacity i paid for. Down time was apauling and no explianation no matter how many times I asked. Terrible, terrible terrible. enough said

😠 AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
This was a good company until it was taken over. It is now part of North West Web Solutions.
Between December 2010 and February 2011, there were big problems with server downtime. It was down for days at a time while they attempted to repair it. They then decided to get a new server - offering everyone a free month's trial on the new server. They then changed their mind and billed their customers for that month.
When I complained, they sent me an unintelligible message about how much it has cost them to get this new server and how they were going to give every customer a free month in turn and how they were going to do a cash draw for their customers.
I replied saying if they didn't want to uphold their promise of a trial I would move my hosting elsewhere.
Their reply was:
i dont take to black mail .... your choice goosd bye

😠 The service started off ok. We were unsure at first because the website was incomplete and had some spelling/grammer issues. Despite that, we took the chance and found them ok at first. Within a month we found that the level of service was pretty poor. Servers constantly crashing, no explainations, and very SLOW responses to emails/tickets.
Since then, the service has become so poor we jumped ship! The emails they send out are poorly written, not even spell checked and are rude or abrupt. I would NOT recommend these people. Whoever owned them before 'North West Web Solutions' has just let them run the business into the ground. Someone should send them on a customer service course!

😠 This started off as a great company - reliable and friendly. However, since the changeover the service and support has been atrocious. I finally got fed up of the server going down for days on end with no apology or explanation, so I decided to transfer to a new host. That's when they decided to suspend my account, so now I've lost everything. Avoid them like the plague!

😠 The price points all seem very good, and when I originally chose them (because they were one of the cheapest hosts offering FFMPEG), the customer service was excellent, as well was the the tech support.
They've apparently gone into new hands (something to do with northwestwebsolutions) now. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. I founf myself having to debate whether or not I should be entitled to know what they have done to prevent their servers from being hacked in the future, after my sites had been disabled due to a server lockdown caused by a hack from an attacker (and they did not have a solid idea of how the hacking had happened (customer service said the attack happened via HTTP or MYSQL...I could have guessed as much myself, so not terribly helpful info there), either, suggesting to me that it very possibly could happen again). The attitude of the customer service representative was unforgivable. Avoid them at all costs.

😁 When I first signed up a web hosting package with Top Hosting UK I was unsure about them as due to there website not looking advertising, they were known as WebHostingMaster back then.
A few months into been with them they changed there name to Top Hosting UK, got a new website and got much faster servers, that's when I really enjoyed been with them, there support became faster (Under 2 hours) & they became more dedicated to bringing us better services and offers.
I have been with them for over a year now and I know I will be with them for a very long time... All I can say is, once you have got web hosting with them, you will no longer need to look for hosting again.
I hope this helps people and I really do recommend them!
