SemoWeb has had a bit of a chequered past, and I have been negatively impacted (mainly due to poor support). However, in the last year things have really really improved. As in, I can't imagine hosting (in my case VPSes) with anyone else.
Their servers (in my experience), have always been pretty reliable, but in the last year they've been rock solid. Support as improved drastically...and the prices are amazing.
Fearing a return to the bad old days I did temporarily host with VPS6.net, but it was a nightmare with shocking downtime. I contacted many other VPS companies to host my new projects I was working on. In the end I hosted back with Semo because they offered so much more for so much less and to date, I am thrilled, as they have delivered.
I've had a couple of setup niggles, which required support tickets, all of which were handled quickly, honestly and professionally.

After I bought their VPS, it have problems, they try to help me at first, but response very slow, after 14 days, the problem still there. They sent my ticket to their supervisor, the supervisor said "there's nothing we can do", then refuse to fix the problem. Now the VPS still not work. When I ask refund, they take a long time to response. I will never buy anything from them, I just want other know this before they buy.
If you are not closing your eyes, dont purchase from scam hosting company named semoweb.com - Totally home made fake company, dont registered at all :) The service run by 1 man named Dustin (lol!) and number one fraud hosting provider of the world. Stay away from them if you want to save your money.

Our target market is people who are serious about growth. No matter if its a professional site or personal site. I have talked to many business people and have asked them why don’t you get a website? Some respond ” I don’t know, i don’t need one i don’t sell anything” I simply smile and let them know they don’t only just have to sell things but it’s a great way to promote them self’s . I also give them an example. ” Why does Mc Donald’s have a website? They don’t sell cheeseburger’s online. They Laugh. We purchased 2 virtual private servers from this provider on 10/17/2011 and 2 more virtual private severs on 10/25/2011 additionally we purchased 2 more cpanel/whm license for these two servers. On 10/26/2011 we sent in a ticket to their help desk stating that the two new whm/cpanel licenses were not activated yet. They assured us they were looking in to it. On 11/06/2011 they had still not licensed the server after numerous help desk ticket requests. They then sent a update stating that they apologize for the delay and to confirm which ips need licensing even though it was all stated in the original ticket. I confirmed with them which ips needed to be licensed. On 11/08/2011 I received a response stating they were getting the two vpses licensed today. On 11/16/2011 we noticed all four vpses were not responding. We immediately contacted the company to find out why this was the case. They told us it appears the vpses were canceled and they need to check why and would call me back right [read more...]
I am not satisfied with the service provided by semoweb.com and they try to fool me by taking my money. I found zamfoo plugin license is not active until now. I received the loss on the matter. after I asked them to return my money to cancel my account and did not return my money back. so be vigilant before buying from semoweb.com
Since day one I had nothing more than problems with them. First, they put me on wrong server (US instead of Uk that I ordered) and it took them several days(!!!) to resolve, in the meantime they lost all the data.
That's not everything. They support is outsourced and the level of English they speak is absolutely rubbish. I'm guessing they're getting paid by the number of answers, as every single support ticket took them over 24hrs to resolve, during which they keep asking for the same details over and over - probably hoping that the user would give up.
And now the last thing: the uptime. Every single day the server I'm on is down. The downtime varies from 30mins to 4 hours (remember: DAILY). The overal uptime for the last week was about 90%.
When I asked about this I was given a series of pathetic excuses of how their servers' firewalls are blocking Imcp and similar lies. I'm using Three different uptime monitors (UptimeRobot, moniutorus and Pingdom) and all 3 shows the exact same [read more...]

excellent service, I rented a VPS and I am very pleased with the service is fast, stable, always on, and the price is very good.
When I try to Talk to the support that just act like I'm stupid and they keep saying there is nothing wrong with it and maybe my ip is banned. I checked it with several Proxies and Looked at his Host tracker and it confirms the down time also.
I have had way better hosting than this one this one is awful.
