I should have taken more time to discuss the issue with Registry Web before posting my review on this site. I feel the issue was resolved satisfactorily and I appreciate the assistance of the Registry Web associate I worked with.

Don't know what the guy below is on about. Every Registry I have used delays a transfer if you change Registrant details. One of my old Registries also delayed the Transfer to RegistryWeb for 90 days because I had changed the Registrant name before Transfer. So what? 90 days isn't very long!
I RECOMMEND RegistryWeb.
This is beyond ridiculous ... we have over 30 names with over a dozen different registrars and not one has imposed anything remotely as stupid as this .
BEWARE when purchasing with this company
You will never talk to a person there. They have no customer service. They WILL mess up your billing and account and you will be left hanging to figure it out.
But best of all after you get so fed up with all the crap they put you through they charge you $50 to move the domain you own!
DO NOT USE AND TELL ANYONE EVERYONE ELSE TO AVOID THEM!!!
I paid the $50 for one of my domains and moved to Go Daddy and am very happy. The others are moving now.
Working on trying to transfer a domain away from them right now. I attempted to contact them through their web form, and when there was no response I logged a complaint with Internic.
Several days later I got an email from, not RegistryWeb, but Joker.com, with the Internic complaint attached, explaining that all I had to do was sign into my account and follow the directions to generate an authorization code. Fine and dandy, but I don't have a Joker.com account and never did.
Nothing ventured nothing gained, I entered my email address into Joker.com and hit the "forgot password" button. I promptly got an email [read more...]
