I can't seem to pull www.pappashop.com up on my computer. I have tried all the engines and the url is not responding. I have shut down my computer and rebooted my modem so ITS NOT ME! There is no e-mail to get in touch with them, no phone number, NO WAY TO GET HELP!!!! This is horrible customer service

I was so excited to go with them and now I am really disappointed and wondering if I made the right choice to move my nameserver.
Your IP was blocked because you tried over and over to log into pappashop.com's CPanel instead of your own. Your IP was unblocked and you were able to access our site and submit a ticket and we responded promptly to you. We even told you of an alternative way to contact us.

It has been a week now that my website is down. when I opened a ticket, they told me that they had updated their servers , and I should refresh my website?? it took them 24 hours to post this response. Each time I reply they post with an equally useless response, standard replies, canned at best, rude and arrogant at worst.
This customer blocked his own IP address with too many invalid login attempts repeatedly. We did unblock him several times. His site was never down. He just could not access it due to blocking his IP.

I Invested over $700 into a site that had nothing but problems. Was asked to fill out a questionaire so they would know what I wanted and did exactly opposite all the way to the final draft. I had no more money to invest in yet another change since they apparently don't read the questionaire they send you, so why bother having us fill it out? so I just stayed with the final draft and was very unhappy with it. Anytime I had a problem they would not answer phone calls or emails in a timely fashion. And they will not refund hosting fees if you cancel early ... which I did! I'm going to do more research next time!! Horrible Experience! Buyers Beware!
This customer paid $399 for a custom design. We don't offer anything for $700 so I'm not sure where that amount came from? Customer was satisfied with her new site (emails state this) and a few months later wanted another custom design but didn't want to pay another $399 for a new custom design. Unfortunately we couldn't offer a whole new design for free. Customer then cancelled hosting and wrote reviews on the web. Customer states that we didn't answer the phone in a timely manner but we don't offer phone support. We offer live chat and ticket system. Its unfortunate that this customer didn't just try a little communication with us rather than just immediately cancel hosting and then post a review that isnt entirely based on facts.

Some hosts offer you the license to a Content Management System (CMS) that they install for you so that you may take that system to any host you want. But, what good is software with no support? Data Center Facility

Tier-1 Premium Bandwidth: The data centers that PappaShop uses for its clients offers fast, secure and reliable performance at all times and are of the highest quality network performance. There is a central focus on redundancy allowing our network to rapidly self-heal failures without interruptions to connectivity. Our data centers use premium Tier-1 bandwidth providers, ensuring minimal latency and fast connections to all points of the global internet.

On-Site Security: Datacenter access is strictly limited to technical staff. Electronic security systems control data center access and are accompanied by a full compliment of motion detecting security cameras which monitor the entire facility. The Data Center facility external walls are reinforced poured concrete. It is a fully managed facility, which means there are level 3 technicians on site 24 hours per day, allowing incident response times to be kept to a minimum. Employees at the Data Center Facility wear Photo-ID badges at all times and cannot enter the building unless wearing one of these security badges.

Power System: The Data Center's power systems feature extensive fault tolerance and resilience at every layer. Incoming service is routed underground to a dedicated on-site transformer. This system routes to an automatic transfer switch which monitors power quality, and automatically transfers to emergency generators in the event they are needed. Each facility is also protected by one or more Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), featuring redundant battery cabinets and full maintenance bypass cabinets allowing for service and upgrades without interruption of power to our servers.

Liebert Precision power distribution units handle final power transformation and distribution to racks, ensuring clean consistent power to data center equipment.

Each facility has multiple emergency generators waiting on standby, featuring over 24 hours of autonomous runtime before requiring refueling. Each generator is test run at least once a week to ensure they are ready in the event they are needed.

Generator power is activated automatically in the event of a utility failure by the transfer switch. The data center load is maintained by the UPS units with at least 15 minutes of capacity, however this is not necessary as the generator is active and up to speed within 10 seconds of a power failure.

Cooling: Environmental processing systems include redundant Liebert Precision 22 ton up flow air conditioning units. Temperature and humidity are precisely regulated year round to ensure optimal equipment reliability. Each unit contains independent compressors and cooling loops to further enhance fault tolerance and reliability. Air filtration systems actively remove foreign particulates from circulation and cycle the entire data center air supply in a matter of minutes.

no phone customer service. when you try to call the sales line it's always on voicemail. No weekend service. Website was down in the first week I had my site there. Have to open tickets for support and wait 24+ hours.
We don't have voicemail as we don't offer phone support or have a call center or phone to call. We state business hours on our site but we are here working all weekend most weekends and sometimes into the night. We also end up working holidays at times too. You don't have to wait 24 hours for a ticket response but we ask that you allow that amount of time just in case we need to fix something for you.

Since you didn't post your domain name I can't look you up to see what might have been the problem.

Caution- Things have changed
PappaShop used to be great but now things have changed. I receive nasty, usless responces to my email questions. No one will answer the phone. The do not seem to care that I am loosing money waiting for their response. Instead of offering help they outlined the proceedure for cancelling my service. Start with another web host before you have to move your whole site.

While trying to install Google Analytics I went into the Template section and clicked customize like the Knowledgebase article advises. Now the left side of my page is light blue and purple but we had it set to black and white.

Would you please change the color or tell me how to do it?

You can select the template from the dropdown list, check both little boxes under the dropdown list and then click Apply. This will reset the original template.

The bottom check box will not stay checked. I am not using the original template. Don modified it so the whole page looks black. Would you please look at my page and see how it is blue on the left. That blue part was black so that it matched the rest of the page. Jocelyn

poor customer support
I have been with pappashop for years now. I really liked them. I've never had a problem but now that I do, Ive gotten very little help. The only way to contact them is with a trouble ticket, which is great if they read it and respond appropriately. I'm on my third ticket and I've yet to get a response answering my question. My problem is that I cant login to the client area. It says I don't have an account. Instead of them addressing the issue. They send me a generic response telling me how to login. Not something I would expect from a small business. I'll be swithching hosts now.

There plans accomidate the novice user as well as the advance user, with 99.9% uptime. In the past few years I have had no problems with outtages or any problems of any kind. I have had 4 accounts with them on basic, premium and even Advance hosting plans.

There support is very helpful as well!
