I have used Nativespace hosting services for approximately six years and have always been impressed with the prompt and helpful service. At one stage we had more than 40 sites hosted with them. The only issue we had was with a series of Joomla websites being hacked but they were able to solve that even though the issue was Joomla not Nativespace. It took a bit of getting used to the Helpdesk but the replys are so prompt that it negates the need to pick up the phone and infact is often quicker as there is no waiting around. Overall we have been very pleased with Nativespace
I have hosted all my websites with NativeSpace since 2009 - first with the basic package, then with the Multi package, and now on a NativeSpace Virtual Server.
Throughout my time with NativeSpace, I've found their service to be exemplary. Response times to tickets is speedy, and all my queries and problems have also been resolved professionally and quickly.
Uptime is also superb - 100% since in the last six months since I went with their Virtual Server.
Couldn't be happier.
I have been with Nativespace since 2002, following a recommendation, and I have a multi-domain package. I have always been impressed by how quickly the staff respond to and resolve issues. They are always courteous, professional, and above all patient, and explain clearly what the issues are and, where necessary, what action I need to take. They also go the extra mile. For example, when I wanted to install Joomla 2.5 on a new server, before Joomla 2.5 was available for automatic installation from cPanel, they offered to install it for me. I've used Nativespace for over 6 years now for my website, emails and FTP hosting. The team are remarkably helpful and always go the extra mile, which for a non techi person like myself is priceless! Everything always works like a dream and if I get stuck I just give them an email and hey presto... I would definitely recommend them and have already done so, so if you're thinking about it - don't waste your time - just give this guys a go.
I have been a client for over 6 years and my IT knowledge is poor so I rely on support and back up when things happen I do not understand, not that anything has gone wrong I just need advice and I get the advice and response I need. If there has been a problem it has always been quickly resolved. I've never had a problem and have recommended to others who I believe are also happy"
I run my own business and I am a one man band so I have to do everything myself. I struggle with the computing side of things and have had to ask some really dumb questions. We moved to nativespace in 2012 due to their competitive pricing, great presentation and we felt they were the ideal match for our web developer's creativity.
The support was quick and helpful when it came to setting up new email accounts and guiding our web developer through the cPanel and database setup for the website
We were very impressed with the prices for SSL which we needed for our new Facebook canvas page, and so this was a big USP for nativespace. Nativespace worked with our web developer to install and setup the SSL for us on the server, going above and beyond what many companies would do.
Due to audience development, marketing and improved film programming we have seen a huge increase in traffic this year, and when needed nativespace have supported us and upped our bandwidth usage accordingly.
Im a website designer and Ive been recommending nativespace for my small business & artist website to manage all their hosting. My clients seem happy with the ease of use and how the customer portal allows you to manage email account, ftp and databases without having to use or login to cPanel.
Would recommend for for web designers /developer looking to let someone else manage client billing/renewal and just concentrate on the important stuff, build create looking websites with ultra fast and affordable web hosting based in the UK.
I've had over 10 websites hosted at Nativespace since 2007.
I used to recommend it to everyone as the customer service was excellent and the servers were(!) fast and reliable.
Unfortunately this has all changed over the years and Nativespace had become one of the worst Isp-s.
I have now left Nativespace and migrated all my sites to different providers.
- Every now and then Nativespace Ip-s get blacklisted by spam filters. I had several complaints from my customers and several automated responses from mail server stating that my mail has not been delivered as the server's Ip address has been blacklisted.
- The uptime is far from 99.9%. It's about 70%. In the last 3 months there were hardly any days when my servers didn't go down, sometimes for several hours.
- Paypal IpN callbacks are blocked on some of the servers. If you are thinking about selling something on your site in the future, I recommend finding a different provider.

I recently had my email address hi-jacked. i.e. Millions (apparently) of spam emails appeared to be emanating from it. I only saw the undeliverables. On one day I had to delete over 4,000. After a day or two I could no longer send. After thrashing around, I contacted nativespace. It wasn't their problem but the treated it as if it was. They didn't solve it but the work they did narrowed down the problem. I cannot really fault them and I certainly like cpanel.
I am on the "Professional" package which meets my needs. The price structure seems reasonable compared to the competition.
The uptime seems to be very good.
Their support has been patient, informative and quick to respond to the more technical aspects of hosting, sometimes they have even rectified the problems themselves and then informed me as to how to proceed in the future.
The pricing structures are competitive, they are not the cheapest, but this also reflects the quality of their service, I would prefer to spend a bit more and feel as secure and supported as I have than skimp and sink.
I would summarise and say that I hope nativespace don't get too big for their boots and instead, continue to provide the excellent service and great technical knowledge that has supported me as a strong backbone in my web design business.
Just a quick note about the Features rating. It has become a recent requirement for me to run a python framework on my new homepage as I will be using a web application programmed in Django. Even though Python support was shown on Nativespace' web site they are unable to allow SSH access to shared hosting. This currently makes it almost impossible to enable most types of Python framework. THIS IS NOT UNIQUE TO NATIVESPACE. Most other shared hosting providers will also not support this kind of access on shared hosting unless the company specialises in Python hosting. The control panel makes it easy maintain the site once its up and running, and I can view the number of times that I people have visited my site.
I sell items online and this is pretty easy to get going too.
All in all good value for money!
The guys running it seem really genuine as well.
I would agree with the previous reviewer that the cpanel is easy to use and that they offer great value for money.
I'm not a technical person and they were really good setting up the domain name and stuff for me.
They even helped me with the design of my website, at no cost(!), when I had some problems and it's really easy to maintain your website using the control panel (CPanel).
I've lost my login password a couple of times and have actually managed to speak to a human being over the phone (not an Indian call centre thank god! No offence....)
All for the princely sum of £3.99 a month! Top guys.
After a very frustrating year of trying to host my websites with these horrible muppets I tried to transfer my hosting to another company.
They prevented me from transferring my websites and have essentially stolen them. To add insult to injury they illegally retained my credit card information and made fraudulent charges on my card.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A BUNCH OF CRIMINAL CON ARTISTS MASQUERADING AS A WEB HOSTING COMPANY. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The post in question is from a customer who had an active hosting agreement with us, which he did not cancel.
Once the hosting package came up for renewal, an invoice was generated (as is normal) and payment made by the customer via his agreement with WorldPay (which he signed up to and naturally has full control over). As with nearly all hosts, this is similar to a direct debit scheme where the renewal fee is automatically paid as per the terms of the agreement for the hosting. WorldPay are operated by The Royal Bank Of Scotland in the UK - one of the largest payment providers in the world that provides full management to the customer of every aspect of their payment agreement.
It transpires that this customer had used a friend/relatives card and details to sign up with, along with their details for the WorldPay agreement.
