What is VPS?
Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a technologically advanced Web hosting platform. It performs and looks much like a dedicated server but is for people who want a dedicated server without a high price tag. The VPS system partitions a single physical server into several isolated virtual private servers (VPS). A VPS looks and behaves just like a real networked server system, complete with its own set of init scripts, processes, file systems, etc. The features offered by VPS technology are identical to a dedicated server. In addition, you can even backup your entire server with a mouse-click.

Each VPS client has full root access, can reboot the server and services, install and upgrade software. Other than with reseller hosting the performance of VPS servers is not effected by any abuse or activity of other reseller accounts and domains elsewhere on the same physical server: minimum resources allocated to your VPS are guaranteed and not shared.
We presently offer VPS servers with CentOS (same as RedHat Enterprise Linux) and other Linux OS, also pre-installed and licensed with cPanel/WHM, Plesk, or DirectAdmin control panels.
cPanel MASTER Reseller — what is it?
cPanel is the most advanced and at the same time most popular control panel in the hosting industry (home page here). Like other systems it comes with three administrative levels:

At L3server we now have software build into cPanel that creates an additional fourth level of administration. 😁 fast servers, fast support
Nothing beats L3server. We servers at other European data centers for our academic mailing lists before, but L3 really got us teh best deal and helped us with the security setup we needed for these lists. Highly flexible support, and wonderfully fast hosting servers.

Best experience I had with a European host, so far. Have a server at their Hamburg location with L3 since a few months, and must say congrats, these guys do a great job! Now even green hosting, which I can re-advertise on some of my own sites, wind energy ... anyway, very happy with support, speed and the many option they have in the control panel and all the domain TLDs they offer.

😁 outstanding support, best international provider in Germany
By now we have four servers with L3server.com, and at least in my experience--we are in the business since 1999, this is the one with the best and fastest customer service in Germany. We host the sites for our European customers in Germany rather than the U.S., because of access times, and support is a problem with most other providers. But L3server has always been really fast, helpful, and very professional in dealing with any sort of fixes or questions. So I am happy to post this short review for them.
