By far the worst experience I have ever had with either an ISP or hosting company. Their system forces you to "top up" to buy services, but won't tell you what to pay. Their accounts system seems broken and they then seem to invent charges you owe. They do not reply to emails, the backend user dashboard is almost unnavigable and when we finally got our logins after many long delays, the cpanel was broken. JPStream is a borderline scam DO NOT USE

Control Panel is the worst provider is the worst provider I have worked with. Customer service is dismal. They tolerate spammers on their servers. So when spam-fighting software block them, since we all share the same IP address, everyone on the server gets blacklisted. No email for days. doesn't care. To our complaints, all would say was that we were the ones spamming, their servers were clean. The problem only stopped after we moved out. Don't recommend to anyone.

Good if you don't need support
It's relatively cheap and has cPanel. Especially the domain, compared with prices back home.

As long as things run smoothly, you are fine. If you need technical support, you are stuck.

Either they don't speak English or pretend not to, who knows. Other reviewers say they do, so I guess they chose not to with me. Typical answer: "The problem is on your side."

Worse: when you try to move on, they won't let you. Say you have to prove you own the domain you registered through them! The proof is some password they never sent you.

Where I come from we call this blackmail.

To keep a long story short: Since I don't accept blackmail, I lost my .jp domain. Had to use an alternate .net and wait for almost a year until the ,jp domain was available again.

Piece of advice: Register the .jp domain in your home country, even if it's much more expensive. Do just hosting in Japan, if you have to.

After this experience I decided to host in the USA only.

Pre-Upgrade testing processes

However the impact of deploying this release on a production system running various other FTP, Mail, Web Server software cannot be directly determined. All of the application software that is used in the platform is built by us. We do not outsource development. The datacenters are connected to the internet through Gigabit Ethernet connections from separate backbone providers, who each run fiber optic cables into the data center through separate entry points.

To guard against line failure or intrusion, the data center is staffed 24 hours a day. Movement throughout the facility is escorted at ALL times. There is 24x7 closed circuit monitoring of all areas and entrances. Between the cameras, access control, and the security team, the datacenter facilities are pretty secure.

The total incoming power is a multiple of what is required to run the datacenter. There is an ATS (Automatic Transfer switch) in place to automatically kick in a generator in case of a power failure. The datacenters are also equipped with redundant UPS systems to ensure clean power.

Redundant A/C systems, each running at a fraction of their capacity, keep the server rooms cool. The units are alternated so that each one is kept in optimal condition.

At JPstream our customer's enjoy faster page loading and script execution thanks to caching & compression technologies we've installed. Our servers run on industry standard content acceleration software from Zend™, IntenseSpeed™ and HyperSpace Communications. Together they make JPstream server's incredibly fast and efficient.

The first technology we use to speed up our server is a method known as caching. Caching engines are implemented to reduce page loading time and script execution by performing optimizations and various types of caching, using advanced techniques that yield much better performance -- usually from two to four times more requests per second. These engines also play an important part in cutting down latency by as much as 20-fold, by preventing dynamic pages from doing any repetitive work, and reducing the turnaround time for each request.


The second method we use to boost our server performance is mod_gzip, a compression module which uses the standard zlib compression library to compress output. The idea is to compress data being sent out from the Web server, and have the browser decompress this data on the fly, thus reducing the amount of data sent and increasing the page display speed. Using HTTP compression, a performance gain of 150-160% is achieved across all web servers. Using HTTP Compression web pages can be 90% or so smaller and images can be up to 50% or so smaller (depending on how much they are compressed already).

I want to thank you guys so very much for the incredible speedy responses and resolution! Honestly, I expected my site to be down all night long. I didn't realize that you guys were there late and would be able to get my site back up sooo fast!! (As you can see, my business makes me work any hours of the day or night.)

This is why I stick with JPStream! My clients depend on me, and I depend on you guys. Life sometimes creates a break in the chain, but I am amazed - and so pleased - at how fast you guys responded and fixed that chain. I don't think any host can claim 100% uptime, but I'll give you guys 99.99% and it just doesn't get any better than that, in my humble opinion! This was a very RARE thing for my site to even be down. But it can happen, and that's why I'm glad you guys are there for me.

JPstream, very high level customer services
I'm using JPStream Internet for many years ago without any problem. Their support services always answer very quickly and their guys are very professional.

JPstream network is very fast their price are very affordable

It is very pleasant to work with Japanese staff. People talk english too.

AVOID JPStream if you can
As someone else has said in another review, I wished I had read the review before, JPStream has a very bad customer service because JPStream people can't speak proper English and don't understand what you tell them. JPStream will always answer back "problem is at your side."

Besides that they will not let you move, JPStream will lock your domian. AVOID JPStream if you can.

Jpstream has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. It culminated in them suspending my account because I told them their service was 'terrible'. They claim to speak English but their grasp of the language is poor and they are generally rude. Use at your own risk.
