Reseller for over 4 years, 10 accounts, received first commission check then they stop payment on the check and tell me they made a mistake. Merry Christmas...
Fraud is a deception deliberately practiced in order to secure unfair or unlawful gain.
Currently all of our accounts are down including emails. Even Intermedia's own site and phone numbers are down. They are by far the worst host I've ever dealt with.
Warning: you will regret ever doing business with Intermedia.net. They have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with in IT. They provide incorrect or false information on email account settings, they do not collaborate internally on support issue, which means you may get someone knowledgeable or not and they will lead you down a path of frustration, it's a roulette table. We have over 110 mailboxes with them and pay a premium for the service, but we get low end support and high end frustration. Over less than 2 years, we have accumulated 57 support tickets with them and rarely are the tickets closed within 48 hours. There is absolutely no sense of urgency with this company. If you get frustrated and call the main business phone, they just forward you to the level 2 support staff, not even the support management to discuss the issue in detail. The company articulates that the service is VoIP-based and integrates with its hosted Exchange email service - enabling customers to access not only hosted PBX features such as unlimited domestic calling and extension dialing, but also unified communications (UC) features such as "voicemail to email" and "click to call." Horrible down agin and again, RUDE tech support was extremely rude about what was a legitimate
It is also impressive how Intermedia offers top of the line products quickly (was the first to launch hosted Exchange 2007 though we don't use it). The email service was and continues to be a huge benefit to us.
This solution (we proxy email through Intermedia's spam filters and host exchange internally) has been the best IT decision we've ever made.
i tried to negotiate our price to be more competive as we were paying over $100 a month and bought the new service from GO Daddy for less than $100 a year.
i was offered a month's credit from intermedia. Suffice to say that I made the switch.
My advice is to shop your services and have them adjusted to reflect the market versus paying the same amount for years.
