The following is the last response I got from Hyperstreet tech support, verbatim (from Nathan): "I called and got it, your a total asshole ! You are insane , 13 fucking emails over the same stuff.
Here is your auth code"
I had initially emailed asking for the domain to be unlocked, the domain privacy to be disabled and the authorisation code sent to me, so I could change domain host. I wanted to change because I was really dissatisfied with Hyperstreets customer service toward the end of 2015 when my email service was down for over a week. Nathan initially told me (verbatim): "we are 24/7. there is no need to change domain providers. NZ is outrageous in pricing and unstable. I see no issues with your account and everything is working just fine. Open a ticket anytime you have an issues, god bless you and see you soon". BRUTAL customer service. I am quite sure they don't even know what that term means.
I was treated very rudely by a supposed tech who has ZERO customer service skills. When I complained about them using their complaint email - the same person I complained about was the one who responded. They then said that by complaining about them, I was harassing them!!! One email to state I wasn't happy. One email to explain for a second time why. And one email to complain about the tech. Does this constitute harassment!? What a joke!
On top of this, the tech then states they are a co-owner of the company and my account is suspended.
I have all the emails as my proof.
Can you believe a company that needs customers to make money thinks the best way to do that is to treat customers like crap and then throw them away?!!!
Ridiculous. This company shouldn't even be in business but they wont be for long with brutal attitudes like this. Good riddance to a crap company.

Im really pretty happy with these guys. Brought my site over from dreamhost about a year ago and spoke to two different people on the phone and they set everything up for me. Quick tip - I asked for a price break or "coupon", thought I would give it a shot and they gave it to me. So to be sure to ask for that. Both agents I spoke to ( a male and female) were polite, clear speaking and very knowledgeable on their products and set up.
They don't provide refunds for unused services (hosting) and have terrible tech support.
Covered all expectations: Rude and condescending tech support, no responsibility for bad practices, pretentious and argumentative lady on the phone. Thought I was alone, maybe that girl was having a bad PMS day or something, however, doing just a bit wee of research yields this page with yet another person claiming she is argumentative.
I would never recommend a client to hyperstreet. Not having a 1800 number is ridiculous when you provide services all across North America and not providing refunds is a cheap way of holding on to clients when your service is bad.
In my issue, she was half right and half wrong, so that is really moot, what matters is the attitude towards clients. I was representing a client, but she didn't realize I wasn't the client until the argument had escalated and she had already thrown insults around like pancakes! Then it just got worse.

For Hosting - prices are on par, control panel is Plesk 10...relatively easy logins. Very little issues. Large hosting plans, no add-on fees. Customer support is live chat and tickets > so far so good.
Their support is totally out the window and they only tell you what they want.
Their E-Mail Server crashed and they managed to lose all of our contacts at the worse time We are in the biz of safety, survival, first aid and search & rescue and have to be their 24/7 for our customers and with hyper doing what they have done they Sabataged not only our business but our customer relationship too.
Hyperstreet will not own up to their fault like they should
and I think we should all get together and go after them for COMPENSATED
I had to build a new site and to do that we needed info from them and to get that it took over three weeks after pleading with them many times at leaving a message They have even hung up on us even when I called their Direct # 1-714-415-2011

Their webmail access has now been down for 3 days so instead of fixing it they choose to not answer their phones, emails, faxes, even the sales line ignores phone calls. Way to go Hyperstreet. I want my money back!!!
If you're not a pro, don't go there, it's hopeless.
