Also, their technical skills are very limited, so even if they are willing to help you (fat chance) then chances are they won;t know how to do it. I had to Google up some bash commands for the supposed Chief Technology Officer...
I hosted my Ecommerce web site for coming close to 2 years. Encountered problem with other host due to resource and bandwidth issue. HostSG have been able to keep up with my high traffic usage. My customers from China experienced very fast loading speed compared when i was on my previous host. Their tech guy know their stuff well, so highly recommend them for someone who require good strong ASEAN network presence.
I am using their cloud sites Titanium plan.

The customer was also caught spamming large amount of email on more 2 incident which resulted the shared server IP to be blacklisted by several list and we receive major complaint from other ISP as well. HostSG policy strictly forbid sending of spam, and a single violation will resulted in the account being terminated, but we only give the customer an email warning despite the second violation without termination. I shifted my blog to Hostsg last year on the Business Hosting Plan (unmetered bandwidth), they assisted me with the migration. Best of all, i no longer have issues with bandwidth, nor did they send me any emails for overage bandwidth issues.
I highly recommend hostsg for their support level, because i have some problems with my database, and their CTO , Mr Tan help me personally with troubleshooting.
Regarding the testimonial from Ray Lee, i assume he does not know bandwidth in Singapore is 10 times more expensive than US, thus most Singapore hosting company fees deem more expensive than US hosting. I have my previous account with Bluehost, and they suspend my account immediately because i hit my plan bandwidth limit. I assume most companies does this, so i am not surprised that most hosting company will suspend the account immediately once you have hit your bandwidth limit, so i think you should be thankful hostsg willing to do extension for free.
Compared to the American counterparts, their servers have relatively older software, less software and they overcharge for bandwidth limits. ONe good thing, however, is at least they allow a temporary bandwidth increase for you to make a decision if it is worth upgrading, but for money that has to be well thought of in terms of tying yourself down for the next 12 months, they try to rush that decision out of you in just 2-3 days.
I definitely don't recommend this hosting site and advise others to do a google search first for "top 10 hosting sites" to get much much better deals.
