😁 I just bought the 3 year plan with hostiso. The price is great and the specs of what they give you is great too. So far I've been bugging their agents to chat all day and they've been a big help. Nothing bad to say yet, happy with my purchase!

😁 Overall a very efficient and available costumer service, quick and resolutive. Truly happy with the efficiency and pedagogy they solve any mishap that you might have.
The server speed seems fine given my selected plan and web size. Also the internal control panel has a nice UI which makes thing easier. Would recommend for sure. Would be thankful for a lower fee, but still is a great price considering all the benefits.

😁 I was pleasantly surprised to find this company to switch my website to from a previous server. I am not exactly tech savvy, and everyone that I have interacted with while completing the transfer has been very helpful and knowledgeable. The support system that they use is very helpful in getting answers really quickly.
For me, this was an absolute life saver. I was apprehensive about making this switch but I shouldn't have been worried at all. The process was so simple, I gave them the needed information and a couple hours later the switch was complete. I can not be happier.
The pricing for the services was extremely reasonable too. I locked in a 3 year plan for a great price. Overall, I would completely refer a friend to them and know they would be taken care of professionally.
One last note, they are up front with pricing and you don't have to look for fine print with them. They are honest and no beating around the bush which was a big deal to me on the heels of a bad [read more...]

😠 Just wanted to share my story with Hostiso and warn others from using them.
So I've been using them for about 2 or 3 years. No problem to date. About a week ago my VPS suddenly stopped working. I wasn't able to connect with it through domain, SSH etc. Upon login the status of the account is CANCELLED.
I was a bit surprised so I opened ticket and asked them to look into it. Their response was that I must send them ID and the picture of my credit card. I understand this can be some random fraud check or something of this sort (although asking for pictures of CC numbers is a bit dodgy).
However they have never asked me to provide anything prior, no e-mail, no request, no warning or anything. They just simply canceled the account completely and didn’t even bother to contact me about it!
This behavior also goes against their own ToS:
"In case your Order is cancelled and Service(s) are not activated, Hostiso will reimburse you for all pre-paid fees within seven (7) working [read more...]

I was a bit surprised so I opened ticket and asked them to look into it. Their response was that I must send them ID and the picture of my credit card. I understand this can be some random fraud check or something of this sort (although asking for pictures of CC numbers is a bit dodgy).
However they have never asked me to provide anything prior, no e-mail, no request, no warning or anything. They just simply canceled the account completely and didn’t even bother to contact me about it!
This behavior also goes against their own ToS:

😁 I recently subscribed to hostiso and all i can say that they assist me so good in setting up our emails, first their customer service chat are always online, anytime of the day i need assistance they are able to chat with me, I appreciate it so much coz i have zero knowledge in setting up emails, pointing domains etc. but their customer service guided me through step by step and i couldn't ask for more.

😁 Immediately after signing with Hostiso Hosting they went to work migrating my sites and bringing my sites up to the current level of hosting technology. I am not a power user. However, the Hostiso Hosting team had the expertise to quickly resolve any issues and have my sites running at levels of speed, and performance I did not have before. I logged in few days ago to see that my account's status is "cancelled". They didn't inform me about it, they didn't try to contact me, didn't offer refund. Just cancelled and ignored.
As per their own terms and conditions they should send me an official note and send refund within several days. They didn't do any of that.

They DID NOT honor their coupons NOR did they respond to my inquiries about the hosting they apparently offer. After contacting the staff for the third time and receiving help, I knew I need not to search for another host and can upgrade to VPS 3 . Since then - no problems, and the service is uptime.

They refused to give me my server details to set up my own website, I am completely competent enough to handle it on my own. Yet they refused to give me the details, EVEN AFTER I REQUESTED A REFUND! Who does that? They offer 10 dollars for the first month, you get what you pay for apparently. I had to ask once for a refund and then demand it twice. Their replies are poised to be sincere, but then they start asking for your current server details, passwords, they want your socialengine.com login info, those passwords and info should be KEPT CONFIDENTIAL! They should not be asking for your personal info like that!!!!!
