Dont be fooled. They do not repons to calls or faxes.
They dont have valid contact telephone details that function.
Cell phone no provided not answered.

Don't use them!
I have hosted with them for about 3 years and every year requested to pay a year in advance instead of monthly. Mistake 1.
On the 22nd of August 2012 I closed my web site and requested a refund. They immediately responded that they will refund me no problem. However after not hearing from them for some time I sent another email. And another. And another. To no avail. Furthermore they have no telephone number on their web address. This should have warned me already from the moment go.
I read elsewhere on HelloPeter of another client who had exactly the same problem and the same thing happened to them. So they are basically stealing.
Further investigation on other web sites showed they refuse to cancel debit orders after cancellation of contracts.
And by the way Derrick Bull above, I think your surname says it all about your legitimacy of your comment and do believe you work for them.

Whether this company provides good hosting or not is not the issue. The bottom line is this:
1) When you register with them, you must provide your South African ID number.
2) By entering your ID number and buying a hosting package, you are entering into a legal contract with them.
3) Think you can pay by cash for a year and then let your contract expire at the end of the year? The contract says that you have to give a months notice. You can't just let the contract expire, and they have your ID number which means that they can black list you. And they will!

Go to their website and then click on Prices, look at the bottom of the page and you will see a price for black list removal.
Basically it is not worth saving money and signing up with them for R10 per month. If there is any dispute, even if you are in the right, they will black list you. It is just not worth saving a few bucks for this.

No words to describe this company. It leaves one speechless. Their message when you try to contact them is "a human will contact you if necessary" Awful, the worst ever. Had no emails since a week ago. They want proof my hubby has passed on, hve given them that, but still nothing. There is no way you can speak to them at all, no phone listed, and if your email is down, how do you do business with them about an error? In fact for a Hosting Co. they are even out of date with their cell and fax numbers advertised on the web. You cann the cell number which is a Jennifer and she just puts the phone down! How ius that ! Dont use them - they must be the very worst in the world. Truly. Based in Pretoria at a place called ZWAVELPOORT - so could be some home business for all we know.

They are the worst and pathetic!
Host4Africa is the worst hosting company i have heard of.

They will not provide you with a phone number so that you can phone - they say this is to keep overheads low and and pass savings onto clients, really?! please!! They dont pay for a call I make to them. And if all their stuff worked all the time - why would people be calling them all the time?

I cannot transfer my website away from them because they keep blocking it - now they dont even reply to mails, and what can i do? I am reliant on them for my mails, so I cannot even stop paying! - Talk about taking away human rights and power of choice! Pathetic, useless company that should not even be in business.

very Bad service. Get a contact number guys!! Don't be fooled by their cheap prices. You pay for bad service at the end. Be warned...don't use you will regret it. Do a search in google yourself for complaints on these guys.

twice we have had to ring customer services (our fault) and they have always been polite and helpful.
We cannot rate them highly enough for ease of use and great pricing.
today I am purchasing hosting from them for 2 more domains I have purchased.

Their support is non-existent and they are a bunch of amateurs.
They managed to take my website offline for days at a time without any explanation or apology.
Hosting with Host4Africa has been the worst hosting experience I have ever had.
They have no contact telephone number, i.e. you can't get hold of a support person and their business hours are from 8:30AM - 5PM, weekdays only. Which pretty much means they don't offer any type of after hours support.
I cannot stress enough that this company is made up of a bunch of incompetent fools who will cause you nothing but grief.

You have been warned.
