Worst possible customer service
These crooks over charged my account and fought to keep the money. It took over 1 hour on the phone and 4 separate emails before I got any resolution.

Fusemail terrible
May 2013. While we have had our email hosted for many years. Once they had all the credit card details hacked. Then all my wife's emails were lost but recovered finally. But now her email address was wiped clean including all her files and records, YES everything gone and 2 weeks later after a couple of service emails offering hope, nothing has happened. So years of invoices all gone.
I expect you can understand my feelings!

Distribution Lists
Set up distribution lists with up to 2000 people per list. Easily secure your list by assigning a password that must be put in to the subject line that be verified before sending, or only allow internal access to that distribution list.

50MB Attachments
Send emails up to 50mb’s in size. If you need a larger limit, then you can also ask us about our large file sending service that will automatically substitute large attachments with links before they are delivered to recipients.

Technology
Every Mailbox is Hosted on a Cluster

Every FuseMail mailbox is hosted on two servers – called a cluster. Any data in a customer’s mailbox is stored on both the primary and secondary server. The two servers are configured in a primary/secondary mode. The primary server will essentially take all of the load from the customer’s that reside on it. If it ever fails, then the secondary server will automatically take over and become the new primary.

One of the other key benefits of clustering is that we can perform maintenance functions at any time without causing any downtime. If we need to work on a primary server, we’ll switch the customers on that primary to the secondary, perform the maintenance and then switch them back.

This cluster technology has been fundamental in FuseMail’s efforts to provide the most reliable email platform available.

VaultSmart Hosted Email Archiving

FuseMail’s archiving solution will provide you with ready access to search a complete history of your email and their attachments. With advanced policy management, customers can set up sophisticated rules to manage how incoming and outgoing email is archived. Set up usually takes less than a day and mail can be easily routed back to the client’s mail server after it has been archived.

ScanSmart Spam and Virus Protection

Spam and viruses threaten network security and often lead to reduced productivity from employees. FuseMail’s value solution has been developed with over a decade of experience servicing more than 12 million mailboxes worldwide. Our mail servers process close to a billion emails per week, with a 99.999% spam prevention rate.

ContinuitySmart Email Continuity

Email continuity will help keep the mail flowing when your local mail server experiences a planned or unplanned outage. Your mail spool will keep up to 1 year’s worth of incoming and outgoing mail. In the event of an outage, your employees can login to our portal to read and write emails. Once the local mail server is available again, the spooled messages will be delivered back to the employee’s regular mailbox.

EncryptSmart Email Encryption

FuseMail’s EncryptSmart service makes email encryption easy. Emails are encrypted based on policy triggers, such as keywords in the message subject, body, recipient address, etc.. As an example, emails sent to certain domains (such as government domains), or that contain sensitive information – such as a bank account or social security number – can automatically be encrypted before being delivered.

The recipient will receive a link to a secure web portal where they will be able to view the message. Alternatively, keys can be installed in to Microsoft Outlook in order to make encryption more convenient for users.

Fusemail is horrible..!
In this last month of February 2012, I have had my final horrible experience with Fusemail that started two years ago. Consistently they had problems with ATT Business mail. Normally, it would take 1.5 weeks to fix; however, this last time they failed with a fix for over three weeks. This failure has ended my four year relationship with this Canadian company. Ray Cossette, the head of tech support, is one of the main foot draggers in the company. This Canadian has kept his position of ‘putting off till tomorrow what he could not do today’. I found that Cossette was unable to get out of his denial and admit, like other techs were willing to do, that Fusemail has a hard time keeping in sync with certain carriers. I kept my email log to the support team to publish so that the world can see how businesses, like Fusemail, can shoot themselves in the foot while leaving a bad taste in the consumer’s mouth. I want my money back...!

Fusemail is a realtively poor service

we started a trial with fusemail.

Based on our 5-7 days working. following are the results.

Cons:

1. Very slow, webmail version 2.0 is better then their new version of webmail 3, java errors, emails deletion is very slow.
2. The mailing list does not work.
3. Uploading of files does not work in webmail version 3.
4. pathetic support.
Email support : it takes them over 24hrs to respond.
Chat support : the agent does not even know the features of their own product.

Phone support : you call then, an agent will come on line and he will just take your details and promise that somebody will call you.

I think they have support only for 8hrs a day.


Pros:

1. The only vendor who gives 100GIG space for $2.
2. Support Fuse mail feature by which you can download your other emails to fusemail either by Imap or pop ( i have not seen anybody else giving this feature yet)
3. Provides you space to upload your file and 100gig per user is enough space for mails and keeping [read more...]

It was cheap & reliable for several years until this year. We lost emails due to spam filtering and DNS issues. The worst is that they didn't even bother to tell us when they had a problem. Customer support is only interested in their rating. I canceled our account and asked for a refund, but still haven't heard from them.

There are many java issues with this. Bugs and fixes were fixed but too many issues to run a business. This is also very slow at times. It wasn't my favorite program to use.

Ok as long as you do not have a problem, and you do not rely on you email for anything. Thier downtime is HUGE and tech support is relatively useless. Thier system had an error and it took over 24 hours for support to contact thier own admin. I would not recommend it.
