Customer service is great. There's a lot of things that need to be done on the server side (initial setup, mail setup, etc) but their agents have been quick to respond & make the necessary corrections.
I've been using FastNext service for about year now. I signed up for their reseller plan to add hosting services to my web design services. For someone who was just getting started, their price are very competitive. But what I love about FastNext besides affordability, reliability and uptime are their tech support. They are very helpful, super friendly and fast in responding. I highly recommend this company!
The technical service is great and really attentive. Fast Next really wins at price-quality service. It's cheap and reliable (but not 100%), although a few problems I had were always solved really promptly.

Double Backup Technology
Each server has 500GB or greater backup storage array or disk. Your data are backed up to that disk daily. It allows for the fastest data restoration possibleshould an OS or server failure occur.
In addition, we deploy backup servers attached to 3.6TB or greater disk arrays over a private Gigabit Ethernet network. Each server has a private connection to this network so as not to impact live customer network traffic. These servers are used for weekly backups of customer data. And yet, these backups are rarely needed because each shared hosting server has 4 or more hard drives in RAID1+0 configuration and can survive 2 simultaneous hard drive failures.
We will restore, however, your account per your request, and encourage you to generate backups on your own. The backup system is fully automated and there is no way to guarantee that a particular file or data will be backed up at the definite time. We do not account for incomplete backups and render no compensation for non-current data contained in the backups.

Their servers are overloaded with sites (up to 1300 sites hosted on a single server). As I am writing this, there is a second downtime during last 20 hours (yesterday it was about 15 minutes, today it's already over 45 minutes).
In most cases the level of support is below acceptable level; looks like they don't know what is going on with the servers and how to solve that. Their hard disks are failing at amazing rate; and server reboots are happening here and there all the time.
Surely, this host should be avoided by all means, as well as other cheap hosts. Always do reverse ip lookup to see how many sites are hosted on the server.
The best I like with them is the customer services and friendliness. If there was an award for this, then they should win it 100%.

Also I need to say that they are trying to help you quickly. And if you problem cannot be fixed right away they will notify you that they are working on the problem, because most of companies replying only when the problem is fixed or even if the problem not fixed.

Don't worry about the uptime we ran pretty intensive online activities and emailing and it has not been a problem ( as I said mabe a few couple hours a year)

I am on the Win-starter Reseller package, and until four days ago I was quite impressed with Fastnext, and their support system Finedesk. However, I have 3 domains currently being hosted and they have ALL been down for FOUR days! Now I am no expert, and fairly new to this business, but something tells me thats a teensy-weensy bit too much!!!!
Apparantly the problem was a bug in the OS, which has now been re-loaded (it took 3 days for that to be done - is that normal? I genuinely don't know) but the initial response from the technical supervisor talked of raising a ticket with Microsoft?? I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me if this sounds legitimate or they just don't have a clue what they're doing...
They were very apologetic in their initial replies to be fair, and said this is the first time they have had such a major issue, but I submitted a further ticket earlier this evening to see when they will have finished copying the files and email over, [read more...]
I have been with 5 different hosting sites before FastNext, including one reseller account. As a person who has had about 7 to 8 years of experience in dealing with web hosts, I do have rather high expectations of service. After bad support experiences from the FastNext support, I have since moved to a dedicated server (bought from http://www.redunix.nl/).
The gist of the matter are as follows -
1. They have bad customer-relations.
2. They have incompetent technical staff
3. They have a I-Don't-Know-What's-The-Problem-That-You're-Facing-So-I-Can't-Fix-It attitude.
Well actually there's a lot more to it than just that. So far in my experience, they're the epitome of bad support.

Poor customer support. Issues took months to resolve, but remedies provided was not feasible (ie, asking the visitors to add their server IPs to the host file, to allow access to the server).
The staffs were incompetent, providing information which were vague and irrelevant. On the other hand, the customer is apparently more technical than the staff can get. Basically, the staff has little or no knowledge of their field (ie; Networking).
To conclude, although the prices are attractive, but this is one host you should avoid. You will face many problems which you can't resolve and they suspend you without giving a definite reason, telling you "it may be because of hacking..." and there they go disabling your account - there you lose all your money.
They have a US telephone number that re-routs somewhere else.
They claim the company is a US company but the Credit Card phone reference
corresponds to an Ukraine Based Service.
Stay Away from them
I opened up many support tickets and the support was bottom line idiots. One told me that I didn't have an email account setup. Geez, I have been doing this for many years longer than him and when do you have intermittent email problems without an email account?
I am warning everyone to avoid them like the plague.
