Yes that is one of the things I will probably want to do once I find where to bind the domain name to the hosting service if I can figure out where it is done.
Finally was told it was a tiny icon on the hosting service entry that lead to the administration console. Once there it looked like a 30 year old design. Can not remember where I saw this design many many years ago.
.es - Spain Domain Names
www.europeregistry.es Spain domains now Available European domain names from €9 year
If you do not look carefully at the bottom of the page it links to, within a small table, you will not realise they charge 69$ for an .es domain.
I fell for it!
This has since changed, but it still shows they will scam customers, if possible

My domainregistration on 17. April 2011 has failed, cause the provider "europeregister.com" has forgotten to send me the verification link of my order. And now the domain is registrated on 19. April 2011 by another one. Bad service, never again!!
At the time of registration, the registration fee was 19.50 EUR/year and I took it for two years. Now that it's time to renew the domain, the cost has jumped to 49.00 EUR/year.
The initial registration took for ages and was a very cumbersome process. For instance they requested me to sign and fax a document that was written in Italian. Upon request I got an English translation of the document, but still had to sign the Italian version. I did read the English version throughout and I hope it matched with the Italian version.
Luckily the credit card I used during initial registration has expired so I only risk to lose the domain.
I have attempted to buy 5 .co domains now with this host and every time someone else registers the domain before they do - they are extremely slow, their phone support doesn't work - its on an infinate loop!
Trying to get a refund out of them now but I can't see it happening.
First, they are liars. They are NOT a low-cost provider. Their price for a .eu domain at €18/year is 50% higher that most other registrars (€12).
Second, they are scammers, even though they appear to do so legally. In other words, they attract you with bloated advertising claims, and screw you over in the fine print, an abominable, unethical practice.
I made the mistake of committing my credit card to them to purchase 3 domains three years ago. Of course, I did not have a chance in Hell of getting these 3 domains since I was not about to participate in the extortionist "sunrise" period, but I did not know this at that time. As a result, none of my 3 domains were registered.
Now, instead of issuing me a refund, they kept my money with the excuse of a fine print clause I supposedly "agreed" to that says they will only issue me "credit" for the future purchase of 3 different domains, and will not refund my [read more...]
It was Friday 1st of May, so let's excuse them because of the bank holiday and the weekend (but is that normal ?).
Now my dns servers are not resolving and they are not propagating !
After countless deliberations I think I have to file a chargeback request.
This never happened to me before.
They do not respnd to emails.
i made the mistake to register a .ru domain from them and after 2 months im still waiting to use properly my domain name.
