Very shitty, cheap service for sure but u only get 4Mbps dowload and 0.5 upload (20Mbps advertised). Always having problem with the connection, I stayed there for 4 years, mostly for being lazy to just call and cancel and go look somewhere else
Customer service is the worst : they will basically be arrogant and very rude, now that they have ur money for the whole year (Yeah they make u pay per year...) they just don't give about customer, why should they ? The sale rep, Mr George Bassal ,is the worst of the company.
I've been client with them for a short while and I have to say I'm not impressed. I pay 20$ for ADSL+ service + 10$ for a phone line.
When I signed up, I was promised a measly 3Mbit/sec connection which I was fine with as long as it didn't drop. Yesterday I was having problem with my connection and decided to test the speed of my connection. It dropped to 0.5Mbit/sec for download. That's when I decided to call the customer service BUT I got a voice mail. Their tech service is closed from 9pm to 8am. No way to know if there was a problem on their end or mine. So I left a message and got a call back the next morning at 8:15am.
I have to admit, they impressed me for about 5 seconds... until the technician calling me started speaking. The first thing she did is now inquire about my problem but started to justify the tech support opening hours. I called to inquire about getting internet, they quoted me the price. I inquired specifically about the dryloop charge, they never explained it is monthly. Only after I paid, I got a receipt showing the charge. I tried to get a refund but since they already had my money, they refused. They wanted to charge me for the installation even though it had not even been done. It's the worst experience I have ever had doing business.

Having moved to a new place, I needed an internet connection. I thought about going with Acanac, since I have used them before and have been super happy.
However, when I saw I could get ADSL2+ at 24 Mbps with Colba, I was curious. Reading online had me worried. A lot of people said the service was terrible and the connection was very slow. I was also worried that a one year advance subscription would cost about $600 with no guarantee (with dry loop, installation, modem, taxes, etc).
However, I decided to risk it. And in my case, it was definitely worth it.
First, I live very close to a (col?). Anyway, I live about 100 feet from where the bell trucks are. So I could hit the building with a rock from my balcony.
I am currently connecting at 17Mbps down and 0.86Mbps up. Not theoretical, but with SpeedTest. Very stable connection. I don't have Annex M enabled, but I think I would get better upload if I did.

I stay with this company for one month. For this month:
1). Colba.net twice charged me money they do not suppose to charge by mistake.
2). In "no DSL signal situation" when I expected they will call Bell to check if there is a DSL signal problem or instead of forwarding their technician on my place with their modem for testing my DSL line, they adviced me to borrow DSL modem from my friends or to come to their place and to rent a test modem from them for testing purposes. Next day I found they even did not even open a case. Two days later I found they charged me 69.30 for test modem they provided which supposed be charge free.
You may pay 1 year in advance but if you want to cancel they take 50% as a fee!
I will not recommend it.
