In the past, I have had very good response and service - but for the last month, I have been trying to reach support and let them know that my site is down and that I am unable to access my WHOIS page. Google and others are threatening to pull my site since it is not responding....3 open tickets, no response.
These people can't find their butt with both hands. They do not have 24/7 support that they claim and they are not U.S. based support. Run from them as fast as you can!

I was previously with register.com and switched to brainhost because of continuous SPAM blocking on certain e-mails. With Brainhost, I have gone from bad to worse.
Initially, I was offline for three days as they did not provide me with the correct instructions for getting back online (I am not tech savvy). Now many of my client e-mails are blocked either at sending or receiving, some with messages from the System Administrator, some without. Though the Technical Support is polite, they are virtually useless and keep insisting that the problem is at my end notwithstanding the fact the the previous host had no problems of this magnitude. Word to the wise: STAY AWAY!!!

The tutorial are very good. As for the products on my ready made site the commission %age of between 7-8% is a bit too small for my liking
The ranking is good and the site is a complete site with automic updates and everything that's cool
I have the one year plan. As far as i know there was no down time and this is my second year with them
They do not have 24/7 customer support as advertised. You can email at service ticket, but will not have a response outside of their 9-5 m-f hours.

Brainhost were recommended as the best hosting service, though mostly by themselves and customer reviews on their own site.
I started with one site, a platinum package and lifetime hosting which cost a tidy sum.
I later incresed to 3 sites and dedicated 6 months solid hard work, average 10 hours a day to building my sites, writing articles and building links to my ezine account. I spent a lot of money on this also.
When the sites came up for renewal, they sent an email saying they were taking this huge amount from my account - and charging me again for hosting when I had already paid for unlimited lifetime hosting.
This was rectified, and I instructed them to take money for renewal, privacy and back up. I received a confirmation email to say this would be done - so I didnt worry about it again. I was taking a break from the sites, and was in the process of changing location.

During the last 12 months, our email service has been down for more than 30 days total . While most of the time we got a pretty good response, since 17 DEC 2012 through the end of the first week in January, some or all of our people have had emails bouncing, not sending, etc. We are an international company and spend time in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. I had one "Brain" Host customer service rep try to tell me that Egypt was a banned country and that was the problem, despite the fact that isn't true and we'd had no problems out of Egypt most of the past year, when the service was working. I've also been told the server our web service is hosted on was "black listed," which took over 7 days to correct during which we had no email other than through services like Google and Yahoo.
The service attitude is good and helpful, but the result is far from it.
I called in to get my password changed, and adding things to my site "you guys are great that's all there is too it"

I never had a Website or anything didn't even sighn up for the accout when I found out about it a year later the wouldn't give me my money back even though I was paying for nothing no web site no hosting nothing they just made over 100.00 from nothing.

I called Brain Host to have my password and user name reset she showed me how to get my ip address and get it unblocked. “Oh sure I couldn’t beat this or have this much patience”
I called Brain Host to check the status of my refund the representative I spoke I told her “You’ve been very helpful” and I was “very happy” with their service
The rep helped me with my hosting plan and helped me understand some charges I wasn't sure about the time I had my domain at the end of the call I was “very happy”
I wasn't able to do anything with my website but, “In the future I with definitely consider Brain Host again”
He adjusted my account and emailed me with very helpful information “very happy with it!”
They adjusted my hoting plan to fit my budget.
They was a discrepancy with a refund on my account the rep handle it quickly “Thank you very much I appreciate it!”
The customer service rep resolved my issue and asked me how did she and her company do? “I told her “You did an excellent job thank you!”
The representative took her time completing my request, she asked me was I happy, I stated “Yes Very happy”
I told the rep I spoke with, “I hope you go home tonight and know that you really, really helped someone with their life”

I tend to only review stuff I like a lot and Brain Host fits the bill. I've had nothing but great experiences with their technical support, which is worth a lot to me and their up-time is very good. Their web hosting service is reasonably cheap and comes with a great set of tools.

I've had fairly good experiences with these guys, although I must say that I've had some technical issues. My site has gone down a few times, however, to their credit they have responded quickly and with helpful advice. I called on a Sunday and the recording told me that they didn't work on Sundays. I thought, crap, now what and did I make a huge mistake with these guys? But, about an hour later I got an email having fixed the problem. Confusing message but the problem was solved. Kudos.
Since I have paid for Hosting for life my site has been hacked weekly, talking to representatives did not help until last Friday some one suggested I buy protection which I did, however site still down. I can not stay with Brain Host under the present circumstances, this is the last straw!!!!

Brainhost has been our primary hosting provider for two years now. We started with one domain and have since then purchased another 3 domains through them. Occasionally when there is an issue, mainly technical related, customer support is very fast and accurate with responding to emails. The issue is usually resolved between 24-48 hours. Brainhosts pricing is very reasonable, for a monthly fee of 9.95 USD we get quality hosting, good service and all other domains we own are hosted for free. We would certainly recommend Brainhost as your next hosting provider.

Always had problems from day one. They always had a good excuse it seems. It took days for them to get back to me to solve a problem. My website kept going offline and they had no excuse for that. I was trying to run a business with their hosting package and They could not keep my website up. After I complained so much they finally wiped it out and started over. Months and months of my work was lost as I updated daily. It just kept crashing again and again after that. They wiped it out and started over about three times. I had had enough after 2 years of this crap. Spent all my time trying to get my site back up and running instead of running the business the way I neeeded to. I finally cancelled but of course they make you sign a 2 year agreement up front so I feel I just wasted 2 years of work and online presents. Go elswhere to do business. DO not go with brainhost. I lost my job due to changes in the company. I entered Internet Marketing to try a new venture. I have no clue about Web design and Web hosting.

My sites were down for over 48hours once. Time is money Brainhost!!! This error has been a big headache. When I call Brainhost, I'm on hold a long time before speaking to anyone. Then the person on the phone is not knowledgeable enough. If I'm having this problem for months, you don't look at my notes, how can you tell me what the problem is? This problem has not been addressed yet!!! Brainhost is the worst. I'm have to transfer all my domains now. It's gonna cost me. Thanks to Brainhost. The worst.
This has been a ultimate nightmare. No matter how hard I try/ how long I work, I never made a dime. YOU ALWAYS COME UP to stop sign or "brick whale". yes a whale-cause problem is huge!!. We've also had difficulty with customer help. There have been incorrect invoices which brainhost was very slow to correct. Also, we haven't gotten response to some price requests for certain 'extra features' like ssh shell access.
The promised site builder is not included in the standard cpanel. It does have fantastico but that is not quite the same thing. I don't know what or where this sitebuilder is supposed to be.
brian host wanted to charge me even after Frank Lucas stated this was a Bonus Free Site. I am very disapointed becas I believe in Frank Lucas's Concept.
I paid like 300 bucks on this and didnt get anything in return my username and password to get into brainhost doesnt work and on top of that i went to google adsense to get things goin on my site and they emailed me back and said that they couldnt even get into my site........cant get ahold of anybody on brainhost.com...i received a call the same day after i signed up and talked to one of their reps and they said that they would call me back...no call...sucky customer service............to sum it up DONT DO IT.......IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!
Dont do it they stoled money from me ,i didnt use them because i ran out of money fast, trying to get a work at home job, i was recemended to brain host,actually had to get it for the venture.Turned out to be a big scam,A MONEY SUCKER FROM THE UNEMPLOYED, they should be ashamed of there self and put out of business. money machine is the place that said i had to get brainhost. Hello, this is my experience with Brain Host(BH) and how I
was accidentally or maybe even tricked into double paying
twice for two Domain Names. They BH were to build for me
two e-commerce turnkey ready to sell free websites worth
$1,997 each. What did I get? I searched and found two close
to bare Vs maybe 1 or 2 ads and no payment methods.
I paid $221.once,$398.three times,&$423.one time. I didn't
learn of this till receiving my Bank statement at the end of

Aaaah, where do I start I wonder...
As completely new to creating websites I bought a 4 year plan with everything included for roughly $340 with Brainhost.com.
This was through Auto Coupon Cash offer where My Creative Web Designs makes a website for you for free(which is actually worth $1,995), and then they "recommend" to sign up with Brainhost. So I did that.
I recieved an e-mail telling me that I have paid for the product, and my site was up and running. I would within few minutes recieve my login information. This was on February 17th, and I still haven`t recieved any login information. On top of that, I`ve tried to get in touch with the customer support and it is litterally impossible to get a hold of them. Nobody is answering the phone, and the machine tells you that they are "either in another call with another customer", or "that they are out of the office".
I sent 2 e-mails and made 2 tickets to the support. I have still not recieved any answer from the company. [read more...]
Signed up with Brian Host just a week ago.
"Unlimited" plan listed whole host of features including unlimited domain hosting and free domain name registration.
First snag occurred on first sign-up attempt. At payment stage it said payment had failed (card number not recognized). I knew number had been entered correctly so waited a few minutes and checked email to ensure payment had not gone through. No email so assumed payment had not gone through (BIG MISTAKE).
Went back through process and started again, this time payment was accepted and email confirmation with login details received immediately (but no invoice or confirmation of amount charged to card).
Thought no more of this until 82 hours later when six emails arrived altogether. These included TWO invoices (one for the transaction which had "failed") and both were for more than the invoice prices listed at checkout. They had charged for the "free" domains!
