The most unprofessional Service ever!
I had been with Bizland for several years, and I mean several. I enjoyed their services and the creativity that creating my website with them allowed. As you know owning a business, you wear several hats and my business is retail. I had suffered a loss in my family and took a short hiatus from my business, but once I returned I found that Bizland had Deleted my website from the internet. I contacted them and they apologized and quickly replaced it. But it wasn't fuctioning. I couldn't conduct any of the administrative changes or functions to my site. I couldn't update or anything else. I must have contacted their offices 3-4 times with the same result until finally one of their representatives told me that I had to rebuild my website. Goodness! I had well over 100 products on there site. I asked her if she knew how long I had been with their company, and she replied, "a long time". Well I cancelled them. Bizland is the worst web hosting service around. They will sink your business. On a good day their service is terrible and their customer service is non existent. The service is so limiting it really hurt my business. Life without Bizland and now with a real web host has put me in heaven!

What a true piece of s-hit. One of a kind piece of crap hosting, all in a league of it's own. These d-o-uchebags are not helping businesses to succeed one dream at a time. They are helping businesses fail by 1000's and more at a time by imposing f...ing idiotic policies like, if you don't login to your account within 30 days your mail boxes will be disabled. Now if you are reseller or you have 40 different accounts or even one, they think you have nothing better to do than to set aside your life to log in and ENABLE your mail boxes on schedule once a month. When I asked these idiots why they came up with this BS policy, the answer was: "we have millions of customers and we are just trying to preserve space on our servers" bla-bla. I say they have way to many customers, and I promised to help them unload a bunch. I have set up forwarding emails that don't even use any space on their shit-servers, why? Based on the name, you might have guessed that most of our customers are small business owners. And we do everything we can to make sure that having a Web site helps you improve your business without draining your time, money—or patience.

Of course, we also work with designers, individuals, families, civic groups, non-profit organizations, hospitals, libraries and a host (no pun intended) of other folks who need Web sites. Our memberships, tools and control panel are powerful enough to support sophisticated users and still simple enough for beginners.

In fact, we joke internally that our job is as much about being teachers as it is about being hosters. We want to help our customers grow—grow their Web sites, grow their businesses, grow their skill sets. (You can't imagine how many of our customers started out creating a simple Web site for themselves and ended up doing such a great job that people hire them to build more Web sites!)

BizLand's Advanced Technology
BizLand utilizes two data centers in the Boston, MA area. Combined, they occupy over 2400 square feet of space, comprised of over 800 Servers and half a Petabyte of storage. Each center is equipped with:

24x7 security
Both data centers run on N+1 power (both A/C and D/C)
and have the same network architecture and equipment.

Our solid, secure network infrastructure is comprised of a pooled server environment, which gives virtually any server on our network the ability to access Web site files when a request occurs. This means that the first machine available will be the one to serve a customer's Web pages, giving our customer sites faster loading times and fewer service interruptions than traditional hosting infrastructures.

Our front-end network consists of:

dual redundant M7I routers
2 firewalls incorporating IDP technology cross-connected to the outside world with BGP border gateway protocol.

Site data is parsed by our dual Big Iron load balancers and is then managed by our DELL servers, which are split into application pools (Web, FTP, incoming mail, etc.). This type of architecture allows us to customize each machine to the service it performs, which means more density per box, and ultimately, faster and more reliable services. No pool lives entirely on one rack. Therefore, even the loss of a rack's switch or its power will not take that service pool down.

Our network-attached storage enables any machine to access a customer's data. Every machine is clustered with another identical machine that will seamlessly take over if the primary unit crashes. These units are also backed up to another set of storage units that have a mirror copy of the data in case of disk failure in the primary units. An estimated 5.5 gigabits of storage are processed per second through our servers.

I never heard of Bizland until Sept 3rd when I had to renew my domain name with Startlogic. I called their 24 hour number and tried to transfer my domain but was told it was too close to expiration to transfer, and all I could do was renew. I did and the payment was removed instantly from my bank account, by Bizland, and somtime after that my website went down and they admit it was their fault yet they want me to pay a redemption fee. I keep telling them that is EXTORTION! You can not sell me what is mine already. This is a scam business and their is no one in the United States to talk to, they are only a digital business with NO CUSTOMER service.
They have bought my business to a halt and I can't afford the ransom

Bizland just disabled my message board without telling me. I have been with this company since net1, and this is the last straw... they have cut and throttled service when I was having a live coast to coast radio show that cost me thousands of hits. They have not credited me with websites that I have signed up requiring me to “remind them”. And tech support, what a joke it has become… see ya bizland and your BAD service… I am taking all the sites I manage and finding a new sandbox to play in.

Do not use this guys, they suck! There no customer support. I ended my service with them 16 months ago, but they keep billing us, for serves we canceled well over a year ago. Had the bank charge back, they still keep billing I now have a lawyer to deal with these jerks. There a waste of time and money. There a big Scam!!! They will in the end be a bigger pain in the butt, that you can ever imaging.

Nonintuitive website. Frustrating, unhelpful customer service. Just say, "We don't have customer service." instead of hanging me on the line with offshore people who understand nothing but a narrow script. MOST FRUSTRATING BUSINESS ENCOUNTERS I'VE EVER HAD. Makes me scream and throw stuff.

The worst web hosting company period. Incompetent support stuff outsourced in a 3rd world country. Bizland sucks! They do whatever the y please, whenever they please. Things like, change of passwords, because they all of a sudden decided everyone account password is not strong enough. Now my passwords are strong none of their concern. If you have more than 100 accounts and you are on vacation, imaging the kind of crap you have to deal with when you clients call you all at the same asking why they can't log in to their accounts. It take forever before someone will answer a call only to put you on indefinite hold. If you want to keep on calling back for nothing this is the company to with. The worst of the worst! I need a bag of prozac just to deal with these losers.
