Very disappointed, I have been using their hosting more than 5 years, they withdrwal a yearly service fee from my Paypal one month before due date, I asked to cancel the service one month before due date, the 3iX cancelled my service without refund my money back of the yearly fee advance payment.
I recommend everybody seeking for a reliable webhosting provider, please AVOID 3ix forever.
Their hosting works like this: up (a few hours), down (whole day), up (a few hours), down (whole day)...
Firstly, I thought the above scenario only relates to 1 $ hosting plan, so I decided to try the more expensive for 3 $ per month. The only difference from the cheapest plan is improved CPanel.
If you really appreciate your money, do not pay this company a cent.
Now you cant even talk to them via Chat anymore. This hosting company has so many problems that they dont allow you to talk live online with any support person unless you buy the most epensive package they have.
3ix webhosting services are a COMPLETE JOKE. FTP is always down, SSL certificates get deactivated, you cant even backup your own site without it going down. Yes, if you try to back up your own site, they will purposely disconnect your site for about 15 minutes.
For the 15th time since July 15th, our FTP has been down. Their support will give you lame ass excuses and make up BS reasons. The only reason why they are so cheap is thats the only way they can con new customers is price.

Terrible hosting service. Paid peanuts and got monkeys. Guess I'm to blame for it. Their uptime is like 50%. Bad customer service - they have no idea what's going on. No email to say servers would be down. I've had my website inaccessible atleast once a month.

I have hosted a website via 3ix for 5 years and couldn't wait to get away from then in the end. The service is intermittent and I was forever finding the site down and having to spend lots of time on the live chat. Now I repurchased the url only and want to transfer it to another company but have found without a hosting package it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to contact them and when i do get hold of someone via livechat they refuse to change the ips tag and repeatedly cut me off. All their email addresses return as undelivered and without a plan i am barred from contacting any department but sales or billing. For days their live chat doesn't work at all and their UK tel no doesn't work. Even their USA tel number doesn;t alow you to talk to anyone unless you have a special code. They are a JOKE! half the live chat are obviosly non-english and they give you different answers to the same questions every time. i've been with them for 4 years. 4 years of headache. i have the same bad experienced as the other people saying the same poor and disgusting service of 3iX. I scream almost everyday talking with their technical live suport and i'm so tired.

I never believed online review, but with 3ix proven over and over again that they fail to do their job. I draw the line when my site is hacked, and the reply is "we restarted the firewall and you won't face this problem anymore" Guess what, it still got hacked after less than 3 days. With all the password change it didn't make much difference. 3 days to crack 10 digit combination of alpha numeric and symbol? I doubt that is the point of entry. Downtime are ignored most of the time if no complains are made. Apparently they only have the "firewall to blame every time something goes wrong". I found a cheaper and more secure hosting company.
Finaly, 3iX suspend one of my costumer account without sending any advertising. The guy said he does but i NEVER received this email. And where is hosted my email account : 3iX !
No rellationship with 3IX, only a freek geek an his cold machine.

So here's my review. I've been with them for a good few years, and I like them -- but only for their pricing.
Features: Average, cos I don't even utilise most of them. I set up using fantastico, and then my sites auto-run. Nothin fancy, so just a decent rating here. But they do provide fantastico with numerous stuffs. This I like.
Downtimes: Yes, unlike other hosts that I'm with, 3iX suffered has more downtimes than I would have liked, but thankfully, I was smart enough to only place my low-traffic websites with them. But which webhost has never suffered down time before? Nevertheless, I'd give them a poor rating on server uptime.
Pricing: Wonderful. $1 per month. Hah! No reasons to be using xxx.blogspot.com or xxx.wordpress.com eh? Unfortunately, it's the only best thing with 3iX -- but I'm not [read more...]

It doesn't make sense for me to own something which I can't have 99.9% access to. Hence I've request them to honor their 30 days money back guarantee.
I have made 5 request for them to HONOR THEIR 30 DAYS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. Till date, no such commit from them. I will feedback in this forum if they do so. Hopefully people will make a better decision before deciding to host site with them.
Admittedly we have some problems from time to time, so I could not recommend it for a 100% uptime critical application.
For the money it's -so far- worth it and the chat operators help you sort out things (unless something really weird has taken place and they can't). Other hosts do not have chat and you have to wait hours for assistance by email.

My question is: I have seen so many complaints and wonder how they could be served a lawsuit? They quite simply do not honor their contracts and should be shut down .... full stop!
Every month we have some issues with them. At the beggining it was ok as the Live Chat ppl could help pretty fast. But recently they say "please contact our support techs via this form". And then it takes AGES for them to fix the problem.
It may be good if you want to host your website with pictures, etc.
If you are a business owner go for something better (more expensive) as 3iX will lose you some clients otherwise!!

Trouble started right after signing up: ClickBe didn't work. Asked them to fix it. They made a number of attempts, and did not get it to work most of the time. They downgraded my subscription to Excite level in the process and lost my two mailing lists. I then told them I wanted a refund (they offer a 30-day refund) and stated my reasons. According to support, I have an open ticket with admins regarding the refund, but they did not get back to me in this matter in the past 5 days. The story is documented here (still hosted by them :-)
Why I rated their pricing as 1 out of 5: they are cheap, but given that they did not deliver anything, the price is not right...
