site has been down all day and i am at a loss on even how to get my site back out and up elsewhere-no warning and just a busy signal all day and after reading all these their complaints i am more upset than before! You think they took the money and ran??? 7 years plus customer very upset!!!

Just reading some of the problems here, I have been with 123 for many years with many sites and they have been great. Todays problem is transformers blown at the datacenter in New Jersey, 123 is just relaying updates they get from the datacenter, hence, recording "Power is out, will be restored within the hour".
I have been in touch with the manager at 123 via his personal cell phone and he has assured me all that can be done is happening as fast as possible. He is confident we will be back online tonight.

They have been down for 2 days straight... they have not returned my calls and I've called over 15 times in the last 2 days.

They have impacted my business, and lost two clients for me.

they have a message that says they will be back up within an hour.
2 days is a very long hour.

123Ehost is down. I have been with them for at least 10 years and they host 12 sites for me.
Unfortunately, they claim to be experiencing a power outage, but when I googled other companies within the same building...and then called them...they appear to not have the same problem.
I assume they have shut down...possibly with no intention to return. I, truthfully, hate to leave them...they have been a good company, but without any human verification of this being a temporary issue, I will spend the day switching to a different host...:(

I have hosted with 123ehost for over 10 years. I found they had a very good and fast customer service. But today was pretty much the last straw. Our business websites both went down and our emails...also the 123ehost.com website wasn't working...and that's a bad sign...when I called their support number it was just an answering machine...but not even a pro answer...just a recorded message "I'm not here leave a message"!

Doesn't exactly win confidence to get that on a support line.

I guess we get what we pay for...but today I had to transfer both of our websites to another host and that took all morning plus having to redo the email config in the new host cpanel.

Sometimes even after 10 years you gotta let go. I'll be advising the boss to get another host...well actually we already did because we had no choice...123ehost disappeared off the map and left us holding the bag and also our years hosting fees for both accounts which we paid last week.

A client of mine uses them. They've seemed pretty stable since I've worked with the client, but yesterday (12/05/08) the client site vanished and so did 123ehost.com. It's been down for about 15 hours now.

Hi, I have 4 accounts under the premiere plan and few times that I have contacted their support team, I have received prompt reply. I have also been very pleased with their uptime, I have only seen 1 outage and that was when they were moving the severs.

I have been using the Ultra Plan for several years and I have been very pleased. The support team has been vey helpful whenevr I have a question on any of the feature and their responce time is less then 15 minutes regrdless what time I open a support ticket.

Ultra plan. Used to recommmend them, no longer. They have gone bad over the last year. Downtime, tech support...their 24/7 is a joke. A webhost that has gone bad. Don't sign up with them, if your site is remotely popular you will regret it.

Was on UltraPlan for many years. Service was good in the beginning and then suddenly took a nosedive and never recovered. Lots of downtime and email was inaccessible and their technical support insisted that I was doing something wrong. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, in fact stayed with them for another 8 months after the first major problems started occurring (call me stupid but I thought they'd turn it around since they used to be good), but eventually left them because I spent too much time (fruitlessly) attempting to talk to their tech support. I bless the day I left them as my new web host is fantastic.

I've been hosting my site for 5 years with the basic plan, the price has never increased, however they have added several new services since then. For $50 a year with phone support, I think it's a bargain. They are always prompt to support tickets.

I just got the ultra plan... paid my money, transfered my domain... and now can't find them anywhere... poof, gone. Every link I've got for them tells me there is no page to be displayed. CPanel says there is nothing by that name at that address. What's happened??? Did I have a nightmare??? It's beginning to feel like one... my site is gone, my domain name is gone, and my money is gone. And my patience is on the way out as well. Support was great... until they disappeared! What's up???

I used UltraSpace Plan for over a year until they encountered seriour problems wit a downtime. They started to increase price and add extra charges from nowhere. The owner was very unprofessional and eventually after fixing and changing servers took my site down without any notice and without returning money for prepaid rest of the year of osting.
Needless to say I am very dissapointed with that hosting company and would not recommend it.

I have several Premiere Plan accounts, and register/manage domains through 123ehost.com. I've been a customer for about five years. Service is generally good, though I'm concerned about repeated excessive downtime. While I would like to recommend the company, and I do find their people are friendly and responsive, I would suggest people look elsewhere for hosting at this time. They do not seem to have backups in place to ensure sufficient uptime. At the moment they've been offline since 3am...8.5 hours ago...due to a router failure. They say it will be several hours more before they're back up and running. All e-mails sent to my domains are returned as undeliverable. A potential 12+ hour downtime is unacceptable...yet they say that because their servers are running fine, and the problem is with Internet connectivity, there is no problem and they are delivering their service.
