😠 Absolutely shit service and NO support!
I have hosted with FlokiNET before and they was ok last year. However these days I'm sorry to say that they straight up suck! My website has been down more than it's been up. SSL via Let's Encrypt isn't wokring / renewing, support is taking absolutely ages to respond.
My friend have the exact same experience.

😠 I ordered domain and host, they didnt even setup my domain and hosting, but straight up closed and told me im phishing people?? i didnt even set up website nor i entered cpanel they closed service, very bad company, scaming straight from start.

😠 the worst hosting i could even imagine.
i did buy an cheap wordpress website with a finished design and hosted it.

After taking a closer look, we found that you had a shared webspace in Finland, and the domain "thermofuchs.com".
A few days later, you opened a ticket about some of your emails bouncing as spam.
We analyzed your account, as requested, and noticed that your website is a fake shop using a stolen imprint and tax ID, selling kitchen tools.
As we have a zero-tolerance policy regarding cybercrime, mentioned in our ToS, we have suspended your domain and account.
During our discussion about getting a refund (which we clearly state that we don't provide in the case of breaking the ToS and AUP) you claimed the following:

😁 Nothing to complain, everything work as intended :). Great uptime, great speed, great company philosophy. The only (really small) thing is that the support is sometimes a bit "rude" and "cold" but nothing out the ordinary.

😠 I ran 2 whistleblower sites on Flokinet. Both suspended at the first abuse complaint. I told flokinet exactly what the content would be (very innocuous) and was given all sorts of assurances. In the end flokinet protected me less than bluehost and hostgator. They denied access to my sight, responded with snarky personal attacks and actually protected the info from the complaints more than my info. They also recorded/distributed my ip addresses. This wasn’t a porn/scam site. It list corruption claim against us politicians. Flokinet is a total scam. Run under EU internet law.

😠 I used floki as domain registrar, but you can not change your DNS settings manualy within the panel, so I wrote support ticket to change NS to the ones i want them to. But 5 Days now without response..... Sry but that way i can not do business

Quite OK hoster. Minor downtimes once about every two months, otherwise reliable. Support is not super fast, but usually ok, within about 12 hours, or sometimes less (depends on the time of day). Speed is fine.
The unique kicker is that they not only allow free SSL via Let's Encrypt, they even install it automatically, including the renewal. Also for shared hosting!
Their Icelandic competitors usually try to sell SSL certificates, and at around 60 EUR for one year of shared hosting, they want another 60 EUR for SSL.

I would recommend to ask upfront which location fits the content to avoid problems.

- Anything than can result in Spamhaus listing
- Phishing Sites / Scam Sites (ex: Ebay/Paypal,CC/Password Scam sites)
- Mailbombers or any sort of spam sites
- DDoS originations
- Spam email
- Netscan / Hack programs and archives
- Malicious Scripts (ex: originate DDoS attacks or hack attempts)
- Botnet/Doorway/Carding
- Childporn
- Fraud Websites/Forums
All clients before having their services suspended for not following our AUP, are contacted previously and in case the issue is fixed, the service is reinstated.
Since then, the service has been re-instated.
