😠 This company has 0 customer service. Their support staff (the only one ever encountered that is known as Tim) is rude and unhelpful and clearly doesn't actually know what he is talking about.
They are running hardware from 2003. They run a PHP version from many years ago. Their control panel is mostly not functional giving errors (you can't even view the files on your hosting). Tried to set up an FTP account, the control panel gave errors... Tim then assured me that the vast majority of people no longer use FTP... so if they don't use FTP, and can't access their websites using the admin panel.. what exactly do they use?
Our website was not working, a support ticket was opened. The only advice web secure stores could give was that Google Page Insights was highlighting the site to be slow. After having qualified people look at the site, it was determind the website it self was not at fault. Websecurestores were given the evidence but chose to ignore it, again citing Google Page Insights and blaming that on the site not being accessible.
To be clear, the site was 9% unaccessible. Giving a '500' error. We took an exact clone of the website and set it up on a new server without making any changes at all to the site, and it worked... perfectly. No issues. Again poiting to the fault being with the host, not the website. Yet they still wouldn't accept it.
Finally, we asked for a refund for the remaining time on the account as they had not provided the service we paid for. They responded basically saying no, calling us ameatuers. We replied, again asking for a refund and asking if they could tell us exactly what we had got wrong in our findings that proved their service was at fault.
Websecurestores decided not to reply to our latest ticket, and delete it instead. Waiting to see what they have to say when they see we have opened the ticket again to ask for the refund... again.
Websecurestores - if you're reading this, you need to learn some basic customer service skills and get some qualified support technicians in, not just rely on a free tool to 'diagnose' issues. And having seen how you have responded to others who critices your service, I have taken a full transcript of all support tickets ever opened with you, along with full screenshots and am happy to share.
Anyone thinking of using these guys, a word of caution! If the fact that they use hardware from 2003 and have an extremely outdated website (it's not even mobile friendly) doesn't put you off, then know that their service is a none existent as their technical knowledge
