😠 On it's way out...
As far as hosting is concerned, great! But if anything goes wrong and you have a good chance that there will be problems and rude support.
I my case, i have an unlimited plan with unlimited WEB space and Unlimited bandwidth and been a member for 8+ years. We have made available to our members training videos and record of their training on the site. In the past few year we have changed to HD which uses 6 times more space. Lately , we have not been able to upload anything as the we receive the error message; No Disk Space.
Contacted WEB city 4 weeks and and received the response (after a 2nd follow up e-mail) that they are having disk space problems and working on it. Four weeks later and i still have not been able to upload files and e-mails result in deafening silence from WEB City.
I am now looking at creating mirror sites so that i am not dependent on one host. One site is already set-up and working; exactly the same size as my WEB city account, without any problems with CrazyDomains (resonably good deals, usually good support).
I think WEB City is on the way out! Cost cutting and space cutting measures usually mean that they want to earn as much money as possible before the service is junked. I wouldn't be surprised if they start offering very cheap hosting soon and then.....

😉 I have used webcity for a number of years and never had a problem. Recently I have gone through a major site upgrade, customising a joomla install. I was finally happy with it, and guess what???? I left the site after adding a new article (I run a website with news, art etc) and went to check the look of the formatting about two minutes later and i got a big message saying "ACCOUNT SUSPENDED: PLEASE CONTACT" bla bla bla.
I have never had a problem with them, but judging by these other reviews they seem to just illegally close down your site without a reason or warning. This is dog tactics, sorry, but I am a bit angry at the moment, 2-3 months work and some person at webcity.com presses a button and the whole thing might be deleted! THEY BETTER NOT HAVE.
Other than that they are a great host... so join up be happy, then check your site one day to see they have deleted the whole thing without any reason. If they disliked my poetry or articles then they could have contacted me! Damn, ha ha, maybe they are tough critics or something??
Oh and I had the best package they offered so don't thing that will protect you. I am also a member for over two years, so again, long term customers? They must not care. Waiting to hear a response. I think they are in Sydney anyway so I can go and visit them.

They used shared hosting which is advertised as "unlimited" but in fact is "extremely limited".
I rang three times to update my email address. They failed to update it.
Your account is limited by CPU cycles. You cannot consume more than 5 times the average usage of the server you are on. What is this in number terms? Webcity can't tell you. Technical support can't tell you and the real actual server admins don't speak to customers.
You'll get an email being told your account is consuming too many CPU cycles. You need to reduce it. By what amount? Who knows! You optimise your account and wait. Did your account get suspended? If not, then congratulations, you managed to get your CPU usage below some magical unknown number. If it did, well, you didn't abide by the policies and they don't have to refund any money to you at all.
Their customer service is horrible. Long call hold times and then technical support don't know much.
Oh, by the way, if you call Sales, they will lie their a** off to make a sale. I rang and pretended to be looking for a new host. They told me no limit on accounts, no restrictions, my account would not be suspended if it went over some usage figure, that at most they would simply move it to another server and all would be well.
All of these statements were lies.
