Have had great experience with these guys. I've had numerous others in the past, only for them to cause hours of work with every change they made to their systems. Never had a problem with Hostwinds, except a server glitch, which they took care of within 40 minutes of my notifying them. Great prices and package deals, too. If you have a one or two sites you may well have many years of happy service with Hostwinds, but if your site is for business look elsewhere.

Very helpful, friendly and fast service. Hostwinds knew all the answers to the questions I was asking… which is more than can be said of some other hosts who I’ve had to deal with that outsource their customer service to foreign countries with agents who barely speak English. Very prompt answers to questions (by you, as well as my support tickets) they have also been responsive, as opposed to CS experiences that really don’t answer the question and prompt further back and forth. 5 STARS!

I'd like to add that the server uptime (99.99% uptime guarantee is true) and overall speed performance have been ok for me. I like Hostwinds as my web hosting provider. They offer nice shared hosting based on cPanel. I am extremely impressed with the technical support and uptime of their services. I've tried all sorts of shared hosting plans that always seem like a good deal but when you factor in the downtime, the slow servers, and the slower support it's definitely worth spending a few dollars more to go with these guys. Hostwinds server stability is perfect. SSD storage gives much better speed than I had with my previous host. It is a cool web host - their SSD storage gives really faster speed than I have ever had before.

😁 I could not but rate them with 5/5 stars - I would have rated 6 if I could.
I was with Hostwinds for almost two years, and only left because I no longer wanted the site I was hosting.
During that time, I was impressed by how smooth and flawless their service was: the speed was amazing, my site was always up everytime I checked and support was always with me and on any problem I had (less than a handful and mostly minor) within a few minutes.

Thumbs up! They have a very large selection of scripts to choose from. For example, in Joomla, just choose the Joomla script, fill out your info and click a button and it builds the database for you. I can express the point that Hostwinds is a reliable SSD host. Is a little expensive in comparison with other hosting sellers, but it is very very difficult to find elsewhere such a support service. For us, this is the principal aggregate value.
