How much does it cost?
We think that all different have much benefit from our offer. Not only that, many webhosts sort arbitrarily its features in packages with different prices. That makes the difference: you pay the price, which seems fitting to you. In our first tests, we found that most users feel 5-10 € as appropriate .
Not everybody has the financial means. Nevertheless, we must also take money, so that we can operate the service at all. Therefore, there is a minimum price of € 2 per month . The price you can customize each month, the device is free.
You load credit on your account. We pull each month from your chosen out amount in advance from your credit. Since many Payment Methods fees per transaction incurred (and not too little), the minimum amount for charging is 5 €. If you cancel earlier, we have requested the overpayment, or the balance remains for later use on your account.
Announce you can at any time. When does your premium package is still running, you will be displayed in the administration. We draw your webspace that date back to the free Web space to the limitations of the free web space then engage again.
Guaranteed availability
The web space is accessible in the premium package at least 99.9% in the month. If not, we will refund the monthly fee. We measure the availability of an independent supplier. Force majeure (severe weather, war, strikes) and third-party responsibility, and announced maintenance work, we conclude, albeit from the uptime guarantee.
Downloads on the web space
The free lima-city-Webspace has the limitation that archives, music files, videos and downloads are automatically deleted from the system. In premium package, it is possible to save these blocked file types on the web space. The download server is thus unnecessary. A file size limit does not exist. Copyright infringement or other violations of law we will not tolerate course anyway.
More performance
The premium space, we limit the number of users per server. This does not mean that we first define a hard limit, because every customer has a different performance profile. We ensure that the servers do not run out of steam even at peak loads. Faster load times, especially at peak times, are the result.
Automatic upgrade
Your free web space with lima-city will automatically switch to your premium package. We copy your files from free webspace on premium server and remove even your databases to. For your FTP access, we send you may be new access.
backups
In the administration emerged with the Premium Package, a new menu "backups" on. This backup can be created and downloaded from web space and MySQL databases. The backups are compressed with "7zip" and with, for each backup independently generated, random password encrypted. Storage is done in a separate data center.
Multiple FTP accounts
In premium package can be additionally unlimited FTP accounts created with individual passwords. These can be limited to subdirectories of the web space. Thus, data can be created for programs from third party editing or special FTP accounts.
Unlimited databases
It remains the case that a MySQL user access per account exists. However, it is possible to create unlimited number of databases. These are located on a dedicated server, separate from the databases of free webspace.
Private SSL certificates
The upload your own SSL certificates is possible. The certificates can be themselves signed or issued by other providers. A dedicated IP is available on request, otherwise we use a shared IP over SNI.
mail limit
More e-mail volume
The e-mail is by default limited to 500 emails per day. we extend this restriction to consultation but also arbitrary. The limit exists to tackle abuse of the account for sending spam and to protect other customers on the resulting "bad reputation" or a lock of the server.
cronjobs
In administrative cron jobs can be created for recurring work. In a fixed interval can call any URLs. The URLs need not be hosted in lima-city.
What we do not offer (and why)
Unlimited hdd
Unlimited storage
Yes, this may seem like a throwback to a free webspace look. But experience teaches us that a normal use almost never reaches 10GB. And since we do not at the premium package on a fair-use clause, we have only something that we can guarantee. Unlimited storage is not among them. If 10GB is not enough for you, we already find a solution. But in our opinion it is a sensible default.
Phone support
Phone Support
Web Hosting Support is usually Search. That is, we get a request, and research the technical background or look for the error. On the phone to let the customer wait while we researched for 30 minutes is not effective, and error messages to dictate is error-prone. A screenshot to explain on the phone is even virtually impossible.
In addition, telephone support expensive: the staff costs a lot of money, which must in the end you pay. This can be done only with a larger team. Our e-mail support is praised regularly, so we see no need for telephone support.
Ssh
SSH access
An SSH access is an access to the server console and for many admin activities a prerequisite. In the shared hosting , we offer, we set out, however, easy to make the management of the Web space for a newcomer and have to avoid errors from the outset. An SSH access precludes this principle, because there is much to learn. Furthermore, it allows a different use of the server, for example, by starting their own programs, which has far-reaching consequences for the administration effort, support scope and resource consumption.

Our lima-city management persists. There is no Plesk, Cpanel and no other management surfaces in the premium package. This has inter alia the following reasons:
