😠 Violates basic security by giving client unpaid website
I have hosted many sites here for many years as a consultant. Yesterday, 27hosting, circumvented normal channels for a lost password and gave my account to my customer who had not paid for her website. This is a violation of basic security. Now my work has been given away, I have not been paid for the website I created and I no longer have access to the site.
27hosting states that they gave the person the account because the person used a name that was on the account (verbal, nothing in writing) and the whois records have that person's name as the Administrator (my name as the other contacts). This is how hackers and scammers steal from others and 27hosting obviously does not have policies to prevent this from happening.
I have filed a complaint with paypal for hosting refund. I will never be paid for the website I created.
